With Toronto potentially blowing it up & Atlanta looking to move on from John Collins, how does this three team trade look? Does every team get what they need here?

I’m not that into Collins. Injury prone on a massive contract through 2026 and his numbers have gotten significantly worse each year… Dude inked the big contract then stopped caring about improving his game. Not a good culture fit.

I’d rather have Siakam

Screw Collins give us siakam

More interested in the SAC 24 1st or ATL 23 1st than Collins. Before Tyrese going down I would have thought very hard about this, but we don’t need a player who’ll bring us some Ws, we need pieces for the future.

I think Duarte is being overvalued in this trade…

For What Atlanta is looking for John Collins there’s no way they do that trade. I would do that trade in a heartbeat because the Celtics pick is basically a second rounder.
Even if Duarte does finally turn this around he’s in a position where we don’t need. Besides Halliburton and Benedict we also have Nesmith McConnell nemhard and buddy hield
So if we can get a starter who has injury prone issues for a second rounder and a possible decent player who right now is our fourth or fifth option at his position long-term? We take that every time.
