Led by Damian Lillard’s 37 points (7-11 3pt FG) and 12 assists, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 147-127. Anfernee Simons (26 points) and Jusuf Nurkic (25 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 51 points for the Trail Blazers in the victory, while Jeremy Sochan tallied 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the Spurs . The Trail Blazers improve to 22-25, while the Spurs fall to 14-33.

  1. Lillard has had some rough shooting performances this season. I think I can say with confidence this is one of his better shooting performances as he goes 12-19 from the field and 7-11 from 3 for 37pts. He also had 1 rebound, to go along with 12 Asts, 1 Steal and 1 rebound. He only had three TOs in this game as well. Pretty good game from Lillard.

  2. I love Nurkic because not only can he score, but you can run your offense through him if need be. He's so underrated.

  3. The difference in the game is the TOs. Portland had 10 TOs tonight whereas San Antonio had 15 TOs. That was the difference in the game.
