I need somebody to show the math to me because this just don’t add up.

The defense of today is not the same defense at the beginning of the year, we played a lot of weaker teams and struggled still. Not to mention these are fresh legs vs Reggie who has looked worse ever since that nasty fall where I’m fairly certain he got a concussion, Morris who always looks good at the beginning of the year and trends downward defensively, and Zu pre-injury and bad vibes.

That said I’m not making an excuse for John Wall, he has generally not been great and his defense is definately imo the worst of our guards. But I have to add context matters for everyone so while he is bad, it is more of just a bad fit that highlights his flaws on our team.

That was early in the season when the Clippers had an extremely easy schedule and when Zubac was healthy and looking like a DPOY candidate.

This is great and also very misleading. I think this is the only Clippers 5-man lineup that meets the minutes played threshold for this visual, and you also have to remember that our team defense was ranked very high before Luke got injured (correlation not causation in respect to Luke btw).
If you lowered the minutes threshold we would almost certainly be represented by a lineup featuring some or all of our defensive stalwarts. However that threshold would have to be very low (sub-100 minutes played) due to how many different lineups Ty has been forced to use due to injuries.
