Pels fan here. Willy is an MVP, so it only makes sense to get an MVP caliber player in return. Send us Tatum and we’ll call it even
I’m thinking our wing depth becomes Brogdon/White for the 2-3 position with Al as the 4 option and then we get a playable 2-2.5 string center. That way Al needs to play little to no C during the season and maybe even alleviate a bit on the playoffs

I liked Willy when he was in New York. We just need a big body that can grab boards and set good screens.
I kind of said this in the discussion thread a day or two ago, but i think we’ll try to get someone on a 2 year deal. Basically, a contributor for this year and someone we don’t have to wait for the December 15th deadline to trade in the off-season. I could see us making a package with a collection of bench players to make a bigger deal this off-season, while also trading a 1st rounder. Essentially, a similar Brogdon deal we made last off-season.
Hernangomez fits that bill of being someone who could contribute this year, can be traded in the off-season, and fits into a TPE. Can we get him for a 2nd Rounder? Then it makes sense to me.

I think it’s possible this is a 3-team trade between Phoenix, New Orleans and Miami. I don’t think we’ll be in on Hernangomez just based on we always make moves that you don’t hear rumors about first
