I was hoping for a redemption season. Even gave him the excuses of having the new kid keeping him up late and all the other stuff was just frustration having to do everything with little support on the court other than RJ. As long as he keeps his cool, doesn’t get T’d up over his own bad play, and keeps playing hard, no one should be hating this guy. He’s doing everything he can to stay healthy and puts up numbers more efficiently than he has his whole career. All star for sure, and maybe even MIP again. If you want to trade Randle, then what do you want in return? You aren’t getting anyone with this type of production in a trade, so shut up. He’s the definition of what a NY player is. Someone who takes all the adversity, goes through the bad/good, and does what he needs to do on a nightly basis. He might not be KD or Luka, but he’s our guy and we need to support his good play. We wanted a Randle that hustled and put 100% in. This season, he’s showing that.

Can feel how tired he is from the effort in after game interviews. I also hear sparks of insight you might not expect from a guy who plays beast mode down hill. Definitely think he’s connected some dots, learning to play here, Brunson helps.
Had some doubts when he was having public fan problems but hopefully just NY growing pains & a bad run.
