We need him when we play against Denver in round 2. We can win with Ayton.

In Monty’s system, we can get by without a max center. That money would be better spent on a shot-creator. Does anyone argue this?

My thoughts are that they would’ve gone 8-1 with him too

I don’t know about mostly good teams lol. First three meh, IND without Hali and Charlotte.

Trade him

Would love to see a Suns team with Bismack starting come playoffs…

“Mostly” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here lol. There’s three good teams there, Pels, Nugs and Grizz. Pels were without BI, and we lost to the Nugs. The one good win is the Grizz.

DA = 2nd string center

I guess because Bismack knows how to secure rebounds

Love these cherry picked regular season micro-samples with ulterior motives behind them. Subtlety trying to prove that the Suns are a better team by simply removing Ayton from the picture by using a 9 game sample size in December while ignoring all the other factors that could have led to it.
I prefer using Ayton’s body of work in the playoffs for my sample size. Using any 10 < game stretch in December isn’t convincing, but if anything this proves that the Suns can win in the regular season without Ayton. And if that’s the case then I could honestly care less about how he plays in the regular season. If we continue to get Ayton’s best in April – June, then he’s worth max money. And this is without even mentioning the fact that he is underutilized in a way that doesn’t even allow him the opportunity to reach his potential.
This is going to become a pattern every year.
In December: trade this bum. What a waste
In May:

4 of those are kind of bad teams.
Minnesota has been easily the biggest disappointment this season, Houston is pitiful, Charlotte is pitiful, and Indiana has a few good pierces but are overall bad.

Probably a first round exit without him too
