>They like the idea of having 3 “superstars,” even if Russ isn’t playing like a superstar anymore, he’s selling jerseys like a superstar does.
>If they do move Russ’s contract, I do think they would be focusing on somebody of that kind of stature coming back.

To burn them maybe
He had a great 14 game stretch, played shit the last 3 and now it’s back to Fuck Russ again on the r/nba chart.
Why are we posting Anthony Irwin
I hate the fact that there’s a chance this is something Jeanie actually believes in
47 million for jersey sales
The David Beckham theory.
Lakers FO really cares more about making money than winning lol
who the fuck is buying Westbrook Lakers jersey when he played like an ass
Bro what lol
Gotta drop that cherry blossom rui hachimura jersey so they can trade Russ 😂
People just be saying shit I swear like bro what the hell are you talking about. Lakers don’t Russ for jersey sales it’s the lakers lmao.
I live in LA and have never seen anybody wearing a Westbrook Lakers jersey. Is russ actually among the top jersey sellers this season?
Irwin isn’t an insider, he is far from it
I literally have not seen anyone wear a Westbrook lakers jersey
If this is true it’s malpractice. Jeannie is truly incompetent. Cheap and dumb.
they’re the fucking lakers, i’m sure whoever they bring in will sell a lot of jerseys too
Jeanie Compared landing Drummond to KAJ (check ig pic). That’s all you need to know about her level of competence or lack thereof.
Pure madness
is he though? can’t imagine many lakers fans are buying his jerseys
I’m sorry but who tf is still buying Westbrook laker jerseys
Don’t jersey sales get divided equally among all teams? so why would she care about that? its no extra money
I remember going to an NBA store and a Russ Lakers jersey was the only one on sale
But now they got Rui’s jersey selling like a superstar in japan
Struggling franchise Los Angeles Lakers is in desperate need of a jersey sale boost
Anthony Irwin just likes saying shit.
Who tf is buying a lakers Westbrook jersey
I really, really hate to say this as a certified Laker hater. With AD back, they’re about to start beating the shit outta folks.
This is conjecture from a blog boi
Never listen to Anthony Irwin, especially about the lakers. He is so annoying.
Ain’t nobody buying a Westbrook jersey right now fuck outta here lmao
Another one line unsubstantiated opinion rising up to the r/nba front page
I really need NBA fans to realize that Westbrook’s salary is a tax write off
Anyone have any idea how much money Jeanie actually makes from Jersey sales?
It would be nice if they liked the idea of WINNING
Lol never seen anyone with a Westbrook lakers jersey
Who the hell is buying a Westbrook Lakers’ jersey?
Conjecture from a blog writer with zero Lakers connections. Better post this quick to r/nba!
Anthony Irwin? Really? Might as well just post a quote from a random guy in the street.
But here’s the deal…the profit from all NBA-licensed merchandise is distributed equally among all teams. So even if they’re selling more Westbrook and LeBron jerseys in LA than, say, Harden Jersey’s in Philly, there’s no financial advantage from a merchandising standpoint for one team to have more superstars than another team.
In fact, one of my theories on why the Lakers have historically been a great team (obviously not the last couple seasons) is that other team owners actually WANT the Lakers to win, because Lakers merchandise is probably like 25% of merchandise sales, so when they Laker’s aren’t doing well, the other teams suffer from reduced merchandise sales.
I’m a little fed up with the Russ slander.
Dude earned his contract being the only player since Oscar to average a triple double for a season which he’s now done 4 times and never averaged less than 22 points per game while doing it as the primary ball handler.
The Lakers trading for Westbrook and playing him together with Lebron was always going to be a disaster because neither are off the ball floor spacers and both are more effective with the ball in their hands.
I actually liked the Russ move initially as I thought it was made to preserve Lebron for the regular season and playing them during opposing times rather than together. There are a few teams who would absolutely not take Russ because they already have a Ja Morant or Dame Lillard or Lamelo Ball, but I’m willing to bet at least a 1/3 of the league would vastly improve with Russ at the point next season than whomever their incumbent PG is this year.
