  1. We beat ourselves with sloppy play but as always fuck Kyle Lowery.

  2. ApatheticTrooper

Said it in the game thread will say it again

Ya know, in retrospect we’ve been competitive with a healthy certified playoff team the entire game..Can’t really complain

    Despite the turnovers and officiating

  3. we had multiple double digit leads and still lost.

  4. jackloganoliver

    Turnovers will kill a team.

Credit to Miami though. They just hunkered down and made plays. They’re the best coached team in the league, not to mention very experienced with a lot of vets.

  5. rustystatic

If this tells me anything, it tells me we’ll be fine. We have played some awful basketball at times and probably still should have won the game.

Very frustrating because we are 100% good enough to be in the play-ins this year and we want to get as close to that as possible.

But, we played awful and Heat barely won
    Roll on the next one

(Oh and the refs ruin basketball for young NBA teams)

  6. jakehightower

Worst officiating we’ve seen all year imo, because it’s not just a couple egregious calls. They fell for Lowry’s flopping *consistently*, let Bam get away with ridiculous moving screens *consistently*, and wouldn’t blow the whistle at the rim unless we got clobbered *consistently*.

  7. lil_thirdy

Turnovers and our 3pt shot abondoning as in the 2nd half lost us this game. Annoying

  8. illgetthere

What a maddening loss. A million turnovers, refs were the worst we’ve seen all season, and a bad game from Paolo and WCJ. And I think 10 minutes of JI would’ve been all the difference

  9. Niceshotpiccolo

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT PLAY JUDAH. THEY NEED TO FREE THAT MAN

  10. Arod12toTae17

How many open looks did Banchero miss tonight? His efficiency is a glaring problem.

Needs to knock down these open jumpers. Something that I suspect he will improve on as he develops.

With that said, Miami isn’t an intimidating team. Magic barely lost with 16 less shot attempts. Turnovers are a massive problem with this team.

  11. ricksenberg

You take care of the ball, you win.

Simple as that. Ain’t gonna win when you cough up the ball.

Some of y’all might wanna blame the refs and yeah there were questionable calls but the refs have been bad all season.

We totally looked like a young team tonight.

  12. KSchmuckley

Bam should have been attacked more. 5 fouls. Easily could have been put of the game mid-4th

  13. FreshGus

Reality check, god damn. The Heat are good. We are a young team. Young guys have tough games. Don’t turn around and act like some of yall didn’t shit on them this game.

  14. It’s okay, y’all. Every win is one step closer to growing into a finished product, and every loss is one step closer to Wembanyama. It’s a win-win.

  15. AmishWalrusNightmare

Complete and utter embarrassment and failure by everyone on the team and staff not named Franz. I’m really about to become the SincereFan for Franz, Mose should be fired based solely off his Franz usage

  16. Bucs2k20

Paolo has a rough one but he’s a rookie I can forgive that the coaching and specifically dell playing bad is less forgivable why does Gary Harris and Suggs not get more minutes they both impact the game in different ways. I’m not a Mo Bamba fanatic but in a game where both of our centers didn’t play well how does Mo not get any burn. Just win tomorrow

  17. Loose-Animal7305

Magic didn’t deserve that one, Paolo blew some free throws, Fultz made an uncharacteristic turnover late, and they let Miami hang around, a shame bc Orlando did a lot of good things early on

  18. VanREDDIT2019

Team loss. Nobody but Cole did anything.

  19. centralfl

In all my time watching NBA/Magic games, this is the first time I thought I might not be able to watch this SPORT because of the refs. Absolutely ruined the the game of basketball tonight. Forget who came out on top. The refs truly made this horrific to watch.

  20. Meh I’ll take it. We played like shit and still almost won. Solidify draft position and learn a thing or two.

  21. Those early turnovers came back to haunt us. Fultz gotta go up stronger when going for shots inside or be craftier with fakes. Too many layup attempts that gets blocked easily.

  22. KSchmuckley

Gary Harris needs at least 10 shots a game

  23. lilberfcontrol

We completely killed our chances tonight with sloppy play on both ends and what makes it worse is that it was close the whole time. Miami was honestly begging us to take this game and we simply refused.

  24. VanREDDIT2019

We win with 15 minutes of Johnny, despite the turnovers.

  25. SonicNarcotic

“Very winnable” is one big positive I take out of this game.. Pretty sloppy at the end, good contribution from Cole, would’ve been a massacre in Season’s past.. Can see our stock rising while Miami looks to have already peaked..

  26. legalize69

This one wasn’t quite at the Utah level but the reffing was really inconsistent. 2 defensive 3-second calls within a few possessions in the 1st quarter, 3-4 “charge” flops, Fultz’s “travel” in the last few mins after getting bumped, Bam acting like he was dancing salsa every time he set a screen.. Frustrating loss

  27. Independent-Impress7

The fact that it was close all the way till the end shows the growth of this team. Those threes would’ve been back breakers earlier in the season resulting in a 17 point loss.

Ease up on Paolo. Mans is damn near an all star his rookie season. Live and learn

  28. raphael87

Heat are so well coached and frustrating to play against. We needed more franz and Gary shots, but just couldn’t get into the paint. Good learning experience for everyone, can’t be too mad

  29. CreamsicleMamba

I feel like that’s a W with Isaac, but I don’t blame us at all for resting him.

  30. 20 turnovers. Not going to win with that many.

    Next game.

  31. Remarkable_Chest_831

    Well, young team.
Honestly we played like garbage to our new standards and is was a close game.
I call that a very good sign.
Now we learn to take a win even when playing garbage and all is fine 😉

  32. VanREDDIT2019

Moe AND Bol were both bad and that hasn’t been the case normally. Really needed Isaac off the bench.

  33. StuffDaDragon

I’m just happy Lowry didn’t injure Markelle. The real reason JI sat out tonight.

  34. Dry_Opportunity_4078

lmao this sub is damn reactive.

  35. mose is always a possession or two late with his timeouts

  36. Elithekid1

Would’ve been cool if we let franz (our most reliable 4th quarter player) shoot the ball more in the 4th
