Trade Randle and hope to get someone as good as Randle

If it doesnā€™t work blame the front office, delete your trade Randle posts/comments, and say the FO is dumb for trading Randle.

    This is what would happen

Meanwhile, endure losing basketball in hope of getting back to where the Knicks are now in a few years

Of my sports fandoms, this sub has the highest rate of dunking on one another and it’s not even close.

  4. I think the sentiment regarding Randle is fluid. Randle has played for the Knicks for four seasons now. Half of which has been really bad. I mean wtf we actually drafted a replacement PF over the PG the team so desperately needed. Then his unexplainable meltdowns last season justified the pitchforks. Thankfully the team finally found a PG that could lighten some of his burden and help him to return to his former greatnessā€¦.but letā€™s not pretend that it canā€™t be you deleting this post as early as next season LOLā€¦.the team is winning games. The kids are growing. Letā€™s hope the front office can just do their job to add to the success.

what people need to realize that playing for New York is not what it used to be. Players value winning now. Winning = media coverage + sponsor deals. No superstar will sign here just to play in New York

  7. We are in a sweet spot right now and many donā€™t realize it.
    – All of our picks and some
    – Team is winning ball games
    – Kids are playing and contributing
    – Brunson and Randle have good contracts for the numbers they are putting up.

If Iā€™m Leon Iā€™m trying to add OG at the deadline + a quality depth piece and let them play out the year. Then reevaluate in the summer.

  8. you joke…but there’s people that don’t like being “just good”.

They expect the team to become a championship contender or sell off everything.

That said, Knicks management has done some horrible decissions to acquire or pick up some strange contracts when we were way too far from contending.

But having Brunson here, it feels like we’re good. We have the draft picks to acquire another talent that’s a “real” #1 that you can trust (Randle has been great 2 out of the 4 seasons but the reality is that you don’t know what you’re getting year to year). Brunson has helped stabilize the scoring and kept Randle in line to not have to do as much as he used to try and do.

Ok youā€™re right. Hopefully it doesnā€™t take another 3 years for him to play big in the clutch again

  10. Hot-Turnover4883

Some Knick fans need to be banned fron posting

  11. The promise of getting someone better then Randle via draft picks is better than building around him since we are at the ceiling. What mid-level player do you insert into thjs roster that beats an EC elite in the playoffs

I really like how much it annoys this sub that people who said ā€œthe team is mediocre and should be blown upā€ arenā€™t convinced that we were wrong by a team thatā€™s mediocre.

Tell me you’re a miserable fuck without telling me you’re a miserable fuck

“Trade Randle, Brunson, Barret, Robinson, and Grimes, and then fire Thibs, so we can start over and rebuild with Quickley and Toppin”.
