John Wall’s awful experience with the Houston Rockets | Run Your Race | Theo Pinson

Trash is the words John Wall would use to describe his time on the Rockets. Spots were given rather than earned and they didn’t make it make sense. He also talks about the transition of the organization once James Harden asked for a trade.

  1. It's crazy, those wizards teams were always +1 piece, – 1 Lebron away from being serious contenders. I kinda wish KD signed with them instead of GS. The east would have been crazy competitive.

  2. NBA Teams need to get relegated or something. I feel like tanking teams has always been a topic for the 20+ plus years I’ve watched it at least with regard to nba lottery teams but it’s exposing some of the negatives about structure in which this league allows teams or even forces their teams hands into a tanking mentality. I think that’s the more alarming part of the tanking which would make one wonder what else are they just allowing to fall by the wayside in the nba nowadays. I can’t tell if the game is evolving or devolving anymore

  3. Tank train last 15 years… Sixers —> cavs —> rockets. Hopefully the rockets will be tanking for the next ten years.

  4. I always say to myself I wonder how John wall would handle this when I’m in a tough situation

  5. I understand his perspective but when the wizards drafted him he didn’t have to earn his spot from Gilbert…

  6. He had so much talent. I loved him in Kentucky and rookie year in DC. Then the money commes and that black street shi" and some coulture bs that black people think is a real thing. Like you need to dance, listen to rap amd gave tatoos makes you black. It makes you look like a kid

  7. John Wall has never been on a team that's won at least 50 games or got past the 2nd round. He trash 🗑 🚮

  8. Notice how the NBA treats players who keep it unapologetically true.

  9. As a wizards fan, John wall is a bad basketball player for what he is worth. His production is brutal compared to his salary. And he lacks offensive talent needed to thrive in today’s era. He is not a weapon. He was athletic tho. And so is everyone else. Quieter Russell Westbrook.

  10. Hearing these stories makes me mad. Fans pay good money to see their teams win. Why hurt a player career and lose games on purpose 🤔.

  11. Houston did the right thing. His ego and pride got in the way of what they saw was a clearly diminished talent who they were trying to get something back in return for before he got hurt again.

He got bought out because nobody needs an aging PG who can't shoot.

  12. This fr proof the nba was tryna get wall out the league smh I’m starting too believe it wasn’t bro fault he didn’t play for 3 years

  13. I told people on social media there's a lot Of behind the scenes drama that we don't know about. We think everything's cool all the players are happy they're not.

  14. Otg somebody from the nba contacted him on that slip up you admitted to the rockets tanking the season away😂😭

  15. It's funny because "trash" is how most people describe Wall's game. You'd think it'd be a match made in heaven
