  1. If they can get a 1st in this deal then do it.

  2. Fair_Wait_5988

WTF would we give up coby for crowder? 20 something 6’5 guard who can shoot, for and older crowder who’s looking for a payday? Bulls too quick to give up on young players ie Lauri

  3. ryanryan39

Crowder is literally sitting out rn because he isn’t starting isn’t he?? Why would he play for us off the bench? Unless people wanna bench Pat.

  4. Consistent-Feed9628

Coby is our fire starter why would we trade him smh

  5. Capital-Vacation-881

Yes. Let’s trade our best 3&D player for someone toxic in the locker room and is currently boycotting playing for the team he signed to because he wants a starting spot…No thank you, unless Ayton or Cam Johnson is involved.

  6. footballfutbolsoccer

Jae Crowder isn’t gonna get us over the hump. So idk why we would trade 22 yr old Coby for 32 yr old Jae who’s gonna be out the league in a couple years anyway.

  7. ClaymoresRevenge

Jae isn’t good for chemistry. And is looking to get paid. I don’t want him.

    Keep Coby

  8. SirGibblesPibbles

I am okay with getting Crowder, but not if that means we give up Coby for him.

Crowder isn’t playing. His value is at an all-time low. This trade makes no sense, unless there is more to this deal.

Coby has proved a lot of people wrong (including me) this year. He has improved on all sides of the ball and is an asset to the team.

I liked this idea BEFORE THIS SEASON. Before we saw Coby Improve a lot and before we realized how shit we are. Now it makes no sense at all as he’ll just leave anyway. I swear if we make this deal or move Caruso I’m gonna be pissed

  10. problymchyld04

i guess ppl are forgetting that Coby’s also looking for a payday next offseason too….. i’d only do this deal if a 1st is attached to it

  11. Is this the start of the season? I remember this was something fans wanted at the beginning haha

  12. same source said these talks were weeks ago and havent gained any traction

  13. FlyingBike

Ah yes, Jae “I don’t feel like playing for a playoff team” Crowder will really enjoy being in maybe-playin Chicago

  14. FickleFred

Do they seriously still think this team can contend?! lol. They should be focused on adding to and developing their young players, not trading for an old vet that would help a contender

  15. “Moore also mentioned that the Bulls have talked with Portland, who is considered a possible Crowder landing spot as well. What this has been about is unclear, but perhaps it could be for some kind of three-team deal with Phoenix? We’ve seen the Bulls pull that off with the Blazers in the past when trading Markkanen to the Cavs and receiving Derrick Jones Jr. and that first-round pick.”

If the Bulls were actually capable of reaching the conference finally, maaaaybe this would be a good play. Crowder makes a difference to contenders who are looking for any marginal upgrade to get an edge.

The Bulls’ problems are so numerous and deep that a short-term marginal upgrade (which I’m not even convinced this would be, given what we’ve seen from Coby and haven’t seen from Jae) wouldn’t even be noticeable.

Either make a real difference-making trade, or deal veterans for young players/picks that have more chance of being at least a marginal upgrade in the future. You know, like Coby.

  17. hankbaumbachjr

I’d rather keep Coby. We are not going anywhere without Lonzo as shown by this season so far, so why make another win now move that barely moves the needle?

  18. lol bleachernation are a bunch of speculative clowns farming clicks from all chicago sports fans. just ignore

  19. coptheriotact

Coby would get to play with his mate cam

  20. RedVelvet437

Not a good trade. Crowder going to sook about coming off the bench in Chicago, sign somewhere else next season and we lose a young kid who’s still showing good signs of development.

  21. Turd_Ferguson3

This seems like a terrible deal from any angle, why would the bulls do this?
