    Ouch :’(

His game honestly would age well too. He’s a spot up shooter with good size. I’m not giving up on him yet and it would make no sense to trade him as he has only decreased in value since entering the league.

Dude always seems to generate major internal hype when he’s healthy. Wishing the best for him long term!

Hey not bad he’s almost played an entire 82 game season

You’re telling me that Dylan Windler has been available to play 81 times in his career?

    Are… are you sure?…

I love Koby, but this was a whiff of a pick especially when you look who was drafted with the next few picks. Not to mention he’s already 26 and has seen the court about as much as your average rookie.

It’s a bummer on Windler. I liked the pick at the time because he was such an elite shooter his last couple years in college and a very good rebounder. A 6’8 wing shooter would really help the team currently too.

Unfortunately his body just broke down on him. Never had a significant injury in college either. He’s just expiring salary at this point

If they trotted Windler out in a coach’s polo, nobody would notice.

Ankle sprain right? We can conclusively say he is not Patrick Mahomes.

  8. Trash pick. Imagine Keldon Johnson on this team, would’ve solved our wing issue.

  9. Correction: Dylan Windler has blessed us with his presence 81 times in the 281 games since he’s been drafted.

    Beggars can’t be choosers.

Still our sniper to play next to LeBron

in all seriousness…what’s his status right now? Is he even close to coming back?

  12. wondering how much AAU/ travel ball he played when he was younger. saw an interesting article about how the increase in youth sports specialization that happened in the 2000s has correlated with more injuries at a younger age. a lot of the younger generation of nba players started playing year round non-school travel leagues since like 5th grade. I think the story used lonzo ball as one of their main examples

It’s a shame what’s been happening to him. But I think it might be time to move on soon, he’s already 26. And if he isn’t making 3’s he isn’t really providing much value on the court

No way he’s played even 71 games
