The Utah Jazz have been a surprising team this 2022-2023 NBA season. A huge reason for that is because of the Utah Jazz duo of Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson. Markkanen in particular has been a huge part of the Jazz resurgence just a few months after trading their 2 all-stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. Even though the NBA trade deadline is fast approaching and Utah jazz trade rumors are all over, Lauri Markkanen is an NBA all-star this season. Jordan Clarkson has also been great as a facilitator and Walker Kessler has also been a revelation for this young Jazz team. Lauri Markkanen career highlights are now on display because of his incredible season. The 7-foot forward from Finland is averaging career-highs in almost every statistical category. Markkanen also joins Stephen Curry as the only two players this NBA season to average at least 20 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from deep.
The rise of Lauri Markkanen has been a great story. After being considered a potential star in Chicago and a role player in Cleveland, Lauri is an all-star with the Utah Jazz. Although most fans saw the Jazz as potential leaders of the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes, the team is currently fighting for a play-off spot in the Western Conference. Coach Will Hardy and Danny Ainge have put together a solid roster out of pieces from the Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert trade. But it seems like the Utah Jazz are not tanking this season. The Jazz might not get Victor Wembanyama, but they have a star in Lauri Markkanen.

Best For Lauri/Utah would be, if they could steal a Superstar Guard, on level of Steph or Luka. They have Bigs in Kessler and Lauri, Just a imagine if Lauri was no2. for Luka Doncic… we can all dream, but it will never happen, unless Mavs implode completely
lauri is 2nd in usage rate in his team which basically means that there are more plays being run through jordan clarkson than lauri
Riro, I love your balls
I would like to point out the bulls did him dirty by making him more of a spot up shooter and not letting him do his thing. And that raises the question what if coby white had been put in the same situation

The Finnisher can be whatever is needed for the Jazz. Whom should the jazz surround him with: it’ll be found in the draft. Get scoot. Jazz have three picks so many chances to get some help.

I root for the Utah Jazz because of the unique duo of Markannen and Clarkson.
Oh yeah! Markkanen is definitely a person we want to keep. Ainge knows that you can't teach height. As a Jazz fan for years, I love the fact that we have all of these bigs. Olynik, Kessler, Vanderbilt are all getting better as well. At the very start of the season, I told my brother, LOOK AT THAT! WE ARE GETTING REBOUNDS AND PUT BACKS. They really have good chemistry. Beasley and Conley hit clutch shots, Clarkston has shown the ultimate versatility, Markkanen is tearing it up. Oly and Vando get boards and steals in passing lanes. Back up players are coming along nicely. My brother and I have a saying when Vando makes a good play, "YOU'VE BEEN VAND-O-LIZED! HAHA SERIOUSLY, I hope they leave the team as is. I totally believe that they will go on a tear and move up into the playoff picture. Play in games is not good enough for this team. I predict that they will move into playoffs and make the second round. They definitely have the ability and pieces to surprise some teams and they are hungry. Do you believe in us now? GO JAZZ!
