I’m wrong about MANY things Knicks-related, but feeling pretty great about Quickley’s improvement this season.

I have been an IQ hater but I have been most impressed with his defense. I think what has helped him offensively is playing alongside Brunson and having RJ with him in the 2nd unit.

  3. Been high on IQ since day 1. I know he had a slow start this season, but glad he found his way.

Good to see you had faith in him too!

Meanwhile there are really people still talking about how he should be included in a trade deal for someone unextraordinary like Bey and OG

    Smh

Interestingly, the less IQ was used as a passer and shot creator, the better he played. His assist numbers have dropped but his shooting and efficiency has sky rocketed.

  6. Doesn’t matter what you say on here. Wins and losses are king. And everyone thinks we have HOF players when we win and no talent dumb fucks when we lose. Shit is pathetic.

I was so fuckin low on IQ to start the year, I will eat crow.

Kid is playing out of his mind recently and one of the main reason this team is competitive.

  8. IQ’s biggest issue has been the same as RJ, consistency. IQ seems to have hit a stride now, RJ still waiting to take that leap

he’s better than RJ right now. Really impressed by how he’s been playing recently but it makes sense, he’s playing more of his natural position at sg which he’s always been since college, instead of having to run point.

So why do we want to trade him!? Lol

  11. I want to buy a Quickley jersey but the last time I bought a jersey the dude got traded 3 weeks later (porzingis) lol

IQ is an enigma for me as a former college player. IQ has always struck me as the guy that taught himself how to play the game but works his ass off and genetics were kind to him. His fundamentals are so…off its hilarious. He always jumps off the wrong foot, his push shot style of jumper can look weird at times, his handles are pretty limited, and a few other quirks. But I will always credit his craftiness in trying to get any advantage he can while being a very hard worker. And it works! It’s hard to hate a player like him and I’m glad to see him playing well. He was definitely irritating me ealrlier in the year and he regressed a bit last year. But IQ knows that to stay in this league, you need to be on the court and he knows that defense gets you there. Kudos

I always thought Quickley was as good as Maxey and I’m glad I was right. He still takes an occasional bad shot but he’s greatly improved his shot selection and passing
