  1. I feel like PJ Washington could be an underrated pickup (if/however that could be leveraged)

  2. Now that AD is back, Walker is back, plus the addition of Rui, the Lakers have to go on some kind of run right now. Just getting to .500 is a heavy lift for this team, right now. They have to reach .500 soon, real soon. Until they get to .500 what are we even talking about? With Reaves returning soon and another potential trade in the offing, there is no excuse for the Lakers to just tread water, if they stay healthy…If…

  3. I'd rather want the OG-Trent combination w/o Max Christie being part of the deal, a Russ 2 firsts + 2 2nds. Then would love to flip Bev- Lonnie-Jones + 2 2nds to a Hield-Duarte.

  4. Would you trade Russ, jones + 2 FRs to Toronto for siakam & Trent jr? Too much or not enough?

  5. I rather have OG A. We already have too many jr. In our team.. we have scottie pippen jr and troy brown jr… then you’ll add Trent jr. That’s too much

  6. Rob pisses me off, but he’s a former agent, so he should have a feel for the zeitgeist of what’s going on out there in the market. The fact that the chip is wide open actually exerts downward pressure on the market because a lot of teams think they can either stand pat, or not mortgage the franchise to get just better enough to be competitive and if you get through the first round, anything is possible. So that means, the teams that guess right will be in the hunt.

  7. i think they should go for a shooting and defending big like Jay Huff in the GLeague. if you check the stats we have guys that are shooting pretty good this year max christe shoots 42% from 3, lonnie walker shoots 38%, reeves shooting 37%, thomas bryant shooting almost 45% from 3. we need solid paint defense just in case AD goes out with injury and maybe a little more shooting. if we do trade russ i say we bring in a good playmaker who can shoot to bring off the bench.

  8. Trade for OG and Gary we don’t need Fred he’s older shorter and he plays PG. Plus he’s going to want a lot this up coming season we’ll lose Bryant and a lot of key pieces. We have enough players that can control the ball.//////// or trade some seconds for buddy and sign Meyers😁🤞🏾🤞🏾

At the very least get Buddy and Gary use Gabriel as a 3 and D and sign Meyers as another big behind Bryant.

  9. Westbrook for vanvleet and trent jr if we do it we are at least in the finals if we stay healthy, i love to get og but his price is higher than what the lakers can offer

  10. If they could trade Pat Bev and a 2nd for a quality shooter I think that would be ideal. Outside of OG I don’t see a trade worthy of parting with any of the 1st rounders we still have

  11. Lakers are in desperate need of a 3-point specialist, the type that move without the ball for SET PLAYS off Double Pindown Screens instead of standing in 1 spot.

  12. The bouble exposed Russ in the playoffs. I felt bad for him, having to watch teams retreat to the paint whenever he got the ball

  13. We all be surprise on who is (are) the player the Lakers will get on the trade that were not mentioned here like the Rui tade.

  14. If they trade Russell Westbrook, it should obviously be for a game changer like Kyrie Irving. I don't believe that anyone like that will be available before the deadline.

#1-12 seeds in the West 'aint trading sh!t, since the race is so close. And in the East, #1-10 seeds 'aint trading sh!t.

That's what the Rudy Gobert trade and parity this late in the season around the league will do. 🏀

  15. If we give up 1 1st for turner and hield don’t we still have enough to try to get Trent as well? Assuming the teams accept closer to the deadline?

  16. I would like to see the Lakers move Russ at the deadline that brings back Alex Caruso. He is the type of player you want to put out there during crunch time that can shoot the three, plays great defense, and makes smart plays. You roll out Alex Caruso, Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis you have rock-solid guard play with LeBron playing Point Forward setting these guys up. Both Alex and Austin are high-motor guys who play both ends. You still have guys like Pat Bev, Dennis Schröder, Lonnie Walker, Max Christie, Troy Brown Jr., Thomas Bryant, and Weyen Gabriel you can plug and play but I think Alex Caruso is the perfect fit for this team because he does the garbage work like takes charges, scrappy defender, and can push the ball and fit well with how LeBron wants to run the offense in pick n' roll.

  17. Realistically, Raps must only really want to get younger or clear cap space. I’ll take OGs availability with a pinch of salt. Theyre developing Scottie Barnes and meanwhile they could get a haul for one of their aging stars. Can see a Timberwolves/Gobert style deal
Happening for Siakim at some point but I think OG probably last on that list.

  18. In Hindesight, let’s lock up some more Cap space for next season. I see a world where we pay Draymond big bucks next year and yeah let’s not…

  19. I predict Russ won't get traded. You can bet the farm, then come back and thank me on February 10

  20. If I’m going dream case/realistic…I’d swing a second and maybe even a piece for Cam Reddish or Mo Bamba (future upside) and using Russ and/or Bev to bolster their roster. OG is up there, I’d be good with Hield & Turner, or possibly LaVine and Caruso.

Either way Lebron, AD, Rui, Walker IV, Reeves, Troy Brown, Thomas Bryant, Schroder, is a solid playoff roster that could possibly reach contender status if AD returns to pre-injury form. But add the future upside of Bamba/Reddish along with adding OG’s 3&D or Hield’s 3pt shooting with Turner’s ability to block shots and hit from outside to pair with AD would make them SCARY
