FVV is overrated as hell. Yes, he was on a championship team but he wasnāt even a starter. He averages 20 PPG on terrible efficiency. Now heās 5 years older and on the downside of his career. We need someone to sit in the corner and take threes not someone who is going to take the ball out of Paolo and Frankās hands and jack up a bunch of bad shots.

It’s mildly amusing that quite literally every report linking FVV to the Magic has been very specific to say it would be a free agency thing, and yet in every related post on the Raptors subreddit they utterly disregard that and fantasize about these trade assets they will get for a soon to be UFA.
This exact same thing happened with Lowry where Raptors fans all thought they were going to get Maxey and picks for some reason, and instead got salary filler and Achiuwa, who has been solid in Toronto but was basically an RJ Hampton equivalent in Miami.
I don’t think FVV will be on the team next season, but in any case there is absolutely no reason to give up assets for him with our financial flexibility.
