I don't like Shannon Sharpe. But I think his apology was sincere but not because what he was saying perse was wrong but it was not the time and place for that and his actions were over the top. That doesn't mean you change your feelings or anything just acknowledging ones mistake. That is how I took it anyway.

I agree with you and Shannon. The Grizzlies are a bunch of want-a-be’s trying to act like they are the toughest team in the NBA. There are no more Bad Boy Pistons. I was glad that Donovan threw Brooks to the floor. The next player might just clock him in his mouth the next dirty play he tries. These are grown men with pride out on the court. The Joker gave one of the Morris twins a long injury vacation last season for him trying to be a tough guy.

I have no problem with Shannon apologizing for his actions at the Lakers game. He was a guest of his buddy LeBron, great front row seats, and he felt that he let his emotions get the best of him. He didn't deny that was him. However, getting into it with the players made it too personal, and he doesn't want to be in that position as an analyst and commentator.

When he made those comments saying the Celtics is a possible threat to their team, he was indirectly " throwing shades" at the Milwaukee Bucks.
