.500 again? Who’s got the copypasta?

  2. Fucking FOUL on the last play!! Turnovers cost us this game

  3. Eat_Sleep_COD

I missed most of the game. Why didn’t Walker Kessler play very much?

Again, where is Lauri in clutch minutes? No where to be found. He doesnt have that takeover mode yet. He always vanished when the going gets tough.

I am curious to see what Lauri can bring if Jazz make the playoffs..

im so conflicted, do i want to tank or do i want to compete. i hate losing but also we need to lose. i’m so confused.

Why isn’t Sexton getting more minutes….smh man was on a tear.

This is a good, honest .500 basketball team. We play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio basketball. We lose a couple, guess what? We’ll win a couple, too. But don’t get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That’s hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn’t have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses.

Yes sir, that’s my 2022-2023 Utah Jazz. A good, honest .500 basketball team.

I am Kelly Olynyk’s biggest hater and it’s not close

Despite the loss, Ochai was a big bright spot this game. That relocate 3 pointer late in the 4th was super clutch and composed for a rookie. I would not be surprised at all if he’s in the starting lineup post-trade deadline

I hope all this forcing clarkson and benching sexton and even Kessler tonight is In hopes to trade some of these guys. The fact it’s not alarming to some of you that a player can play well , get iced out , and not close games when he’s a closer is weird. But let it be Kessler or Lauri , some of you would notice that! Call it being a fanboy or whatever but if you’re watching , some shit just doesn’t make sense and it’s not right. Once agajn. JORDAN CLARKSON does not need to be treated like a first option to be traded. You also don’t have to alienate other players to increase someone’s value especially players that are good! This better start making sense soon. Very frustrating to watch

There’s been many opportunities this season for us to string some wins together and get decently above .500, but time and again we have just been unable to capitalize on them. Trades have to be made at or before the deadline, because ending the year right at .500 is probably the worst outcome that could happen for this season. We NEED to hit on our picks in next year’s draft, and the odds of us doing that shoot way up if we are able to secure a good to great lottery pick.

    GAME NOTES:

IDK if Walker Kessler was credited for a block on that dunk attempt by Collins that ended up going in in the first quarter, shit was wild haha

Lauri still got his 25-10, but again not too efficient. 3-11 from 3, and the size threw him off.

Collin Sexton immediately came in and made a difference offensively like he always does. I really just want to see more playmaking from him and I’m comfortable with him being our PG for the future

Rough 3 point shooting in the first quarter. Paired with our not so good defense put us down early. 1-12 shooting, and the majority of them were wide open looks too

We also shot 7-16 in the paint the first 20 minutes of the game. Not ideal

Mike Conley another great gamke. 7-9 shooting 6 assists. Dude did have 5 turnovers though, again, not ideal

Overall just such a weird game. Got down big, never really threatened the lead until the very last minutes.

Agbaji shot well, although he still has the role of a 3/D guy. I’ll take it for a rookie, but I really want to see more out of him in the future

Beasley another terrible shooting night 1-8 from 3, 2-10 overall. Paired with just 2 assists, homie really needs to be showing more to be earning 18 minutes a night.

NAW some some minutes in the fourth for defense purposes, and I think it worked a little bit. Nothing too crazy, not a big impact, and was a 0 on offense in his time

Olynyk also looked not so good in his minutes. He provided good rebounding and his passing is always a plus, but just 6 points on 2-9 shooting.

All of our bigs just got eaten alive by Capela and Collins tonight. Absolutely nothing we could do against that size

Clarkson had an inefficient 24 tonight, but he was part of our comeback late in the fourth. That’s the JC experience, baby!

Vando didn’t score, but had 11 rebounds in his 18 minutes. I wish he had the ball in his hands more, he is pretty good at facilitating given the opportunity. I feel we “banish” him to be just a roll man or to shoot the occasional corner 3.

Our defense wasn’t too bad tonight, but we just couldn’t hit shots and turned the ball over way too much. Conley was our best player offensively, Lauri still got his, just our offense wasn’t clicking. Low assists + high turnover game.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t able to watch all the game, so game notes are shorter tonight.

    26-26 bitches

Felt like we didn’t show up tonight. So many guys just couldn’t be counted on.

In football this is a coaching loss for not having your guys ready to play after all the time off recently. Nba wise could be a plethora of things.

We fought but we really know how to step on our own toes. That said think a trade could breath some new life into this team and give ‘em something to play for or decidedly shut the door on the season.

First game this season I really did not enjoy watching. Low energy, poor shooting and overall lack of fire or extra effort. I am sure they are tired and trade deadline looming so will give them all a pass. Congrats to Lauri.

When will people start realizing that THT actually improves his teammates. He has so much gravity that it frees up his teammates for open 3’s. This is why he has such a great +- in his last 10 games.

  16. lopodo777

Is sad that our best defence is played when the youngsters are in
