The New Orleans Pelicans have been dealing with injury problems all season long, specifically with their two stars. Zion Williamson has missed 24 games and Brandon Ingram has missed 34. However for most of the season the Pelicans had dealt with it and survived. They maintained a top 3-seed in the west from November 30th all the way to January 17th. They seemed deep enough to battle through the injuries, but lately it’s been piling up. They’ve lost 10 straight games and fallen all the way to 11th place, which is outside of the playoffs and play-in games altogether. Guard CJ McCollum hasn’t stepped up in the way they’ve needed him too, and if they don’t pick it up soon it could get really ugly with the two teams behind them, the Lakers and Thunder seemingly trending up. They have a good team, but the Pelicans are falling apart. To get an understanding of how the Pelicans’ season has went let’s look at some individual performers, and then look at some trades that could help the team get their heads above water.
Think about subbing, I’m on the road to 5k!!!

They need to got big after OG Anunoby if he becomes available
Their recent form mostly shows how valuable Zion is to them. What they need the most is Zanos to stay healthy tbh
