The Raptors have an expensive bench to be honest. Boucher, Thad, Birch, Porter and Juancho are making over $35 million this year. That is a lot of salary cap space giving us very little production from our “veteran” backups
There’s no doubt that the lack of bench production is why we have been a bad team this year. There’s no team that can have that much unproductive salary in 5 projected bench players and have a good team.
The starters we are talking about trading are a secondary problem to our terrible bench.

His knee is completely cooked, he opted for surgery in the offseason iirc but it didn’t seem to help at all. Its a shame, he was solid when he was healthy.
