  1. I'm so disgusted with this team right now. I don't care if Fox is out vs a team we are competing with that is missing 3 starters. Sabonis did nothing to step up and play like an all star in 2 straight games without Fox. Hueter and Murray have been borderline unplayable for 2 straight games. Davion has been pathetic with no impact on either side of the ball while having a golden opportunity. We've had an absolute cupcake schedule and we could've really set ourselves up but look listless with no sense of urgency even when we have the rest advantage. I don't understand how we aren't the hungriest team in the league. As great as this season has gone a lot of our success has been predicated on the injuries of other teams we are competing against and as those teams possibly get healthy we could easily lose it all b/c of these missed opportunities

  2. I feel like Monk's birthday being last night had something to do with it. Matt wasn't too far off when he said they were on Bourbon Street and just rolled out of bed. I feel like that's what LITERALLY happened. That's why they looked tired and hungover. That could be a reason why they lost. Just my opinion.

Great podcast as usual Matt, calling them out and holding them accountable. Keep up the great work!

  3. another phatetic embarrassing loss just like the lost back in december at home playing the hornets and wizards! this team do not learn from past mistake..too soft and not mentally tough

  4. No excuses for fox ! I lost all respect for fox ! He will never be a champion of all star with his simp mentality!

  5. The cheat code to beat the kings is “Sit your STARS and play your hungry bench” – we choke every game hand gifted to us smh

  6. I'm trying to not have delusional expectations for this maiden voyage season of the Mike Brown era and just enjoy the ride. Year 2 Monte will add talent that fits this team and builds upon this season. Year 3 the Kings hopefully should be ready to rock n' roll!

  7. I tuned in a little late to last nights game, and I switched it right off. It was embarrassing, but a reminder that this team is still growing. I agree 100% with your take. We can’t win every game, but I didn’t expect this kind of loss with this years team. This one huuuurt.

  8. Two games is a row where the starters were garbage on offense … not a fluke … they need Fox and/or Monk

  9. We have ZERO games where Monk starts … so don’t draw conclusions about what Monk in the starting lineup would be like

  10. I stayed up for 1am local to catch the first half at least, and glad I didn't bother with more. The offence looked so stiff and stationary I couldn't believe that these were the same kings that scored 153 points against the Nets. Didn't help that every starter were ice cold as well.

I appreciate how Fox stirs up the defense a lot more now, I can't remember a single half-court cut that left the defense looking flat footed.

Also, fitting backdrop and aura for this one Matt, the team deserves a proper reprimand for this one.
