I know people love to bag on Felicio as a meme but the guy had a pretty extraordinary journey to the NBA including through a scam boarding school in Sacramento run by a guy who ended up getting sentenced to 10 years in prison for child abuse, false imprisonment, and molestation of the kids in the program. Felicio was there as a senior and was obviously massive and provided protection for fellow students against the guy who ran the “school”. I’ve got a lot of respect for who he is through that. Also dude loves Chicago. Still goes to a lot of games and hangs around the organization. The front office must have really liked him. Somethings are bigger than basketball.
