Also, [Charles Bassey](https://twitter.com/spurs/status/1623083590928986112) was voted into the NBA G League Next Up Game which is now a thing that exists and will immediately precede the actual all star game.
Cool to see him getting props around the league now and from former players too. And he’s getting props not by scoring or making fancy plays, he’s getting recognized for doing whatever it takes to improve and for being a hard nosed player which are things that usually just fly under the radar. He may never be the best or 2nd best player on your team but he is EXACTLY the player you want on a championship roster. He’s a glue guy, he’s that dog that you know you’re gonna have to deal with in a 7 game series. I really really hope he can land Wemby and start contending in a few years cuz I wanna see Sochan on the big stage in the playoffs and make a name. Once he gets on the big stage and gets a rep, that means something to refs. He’ll start getting the benefit of the doubt on plays
