Trae was 4/14 and Dre was 0/9. Nuff said.
Honestly though it’s gotta be depressing being JC on this team. Like your greatest strength, setting screens and rolling will never be used the way it could because of the roster construction. It was only for a bit, but that run at the end made me remember the early years of this rebuild when we spammed the 1/5 pick and roll with Trae and JC and just got buckets.

Hunter needs to go. Trade him for whoever, i dont care. He’ll give you a good game here and there but he’s probably the most unreliable player i’ve ever seen. And even if he did turn a corner and became more consistent, he’d just get injured anyway.

The offense is predictable. Refball, im used to the NBA screwing us 8v5 everyday, it is what it is. If nobody is hitting their shots, teams can pack the paint.
Nate not knowing how to use his players correctly and bench them too early or keep them out too long. Can’t have Trae or DJM have an off game, or the team is screwed.
The young bench guys have massive amounts of talent, but Nate doesn’t know how to develop them. Nate can’t adjust at all.
This ballclub can’t even run a play without asking Trae or DJ where to go on the floor. This is a badly coached team who overhelp on defense and struggle vs. good teams due to no adjustments on the floor. Can’t wait for the offseason and get rid of this coach.
It’s time to fire Nate. I don’t care how it looks to fire another HC mid season, continuing down this path is insanity. I understand not everything is his fault, guys missed shots and got injured. But we have to much talent to be under .500 in my opinion. The freaking KNICKS have a better record. Hawks office called me about renewing tickets and unless they do something drastic this week to fix this, I’m not doing it.

Dre’s problem is he’s either all the way on or all the way off. You’re getting 25 or 12, but there’s still way more 12’s than 25’s than there should be.
Does anyone know why Nate didn’t give Trae his typical mid quarter breather in the 3rd quarter? Trae played really poorly in the back half of the 3rd quarter, and I can’t help but think the weird rotation played a part in that. Nate somehow does too much and doesn’t do anything at the same time lol
