Well! That sucks! Cronin better start working those phones because the clock is ticking.

If we do nothing and don’t make the playoffs this ship has taken on way too much water.

More blame still goes on NO than Cronin if that’s the case.

Fuck. We need to seriously start engaging with other teams because we need a true SF and backup big.

  4. Ugh. Hopefully we can get involved somehow and get our guy.

Bet we pivot to the Knicks, heard they want Hart

I forgot how stressful trade season was. Have your mind made up on a dude who we are surely gonna get, and like a thief in the night, some surprise deal pops up and starts to crush your hopes.

after all the chatter about how likely it was that the blazers would land vanderbilt, i’m not at all surprised that he will end up not going to the blazers lmao

I’m gonna be so toxic if the lakers get substantially better while we toil away doing nothing

Would honestly be kind of hilarious if we picked up Russ once he gets bought out

Blazers trade Josh Hart for 2nd round pick, cash

“We were confident that the team we assembled this past summer can contend when healthy. We’ll look to make some serious moves this coming summer.”

I don’t blame the Jazz for wanting the better asset.

It just sucks that the Lakers cucked us lmao.

So if I understand correctly, in order to trade away future picks we have to lift the protections on our 2023 1st for Chicago

Meaning just outright give them the pick

Idk how this is going to work out Russell and the picks is a good get for them but it’s not worth DLo, Beasley, and Vando. Plus Minnesota needs to get more from Utah to match the DLo salary. They need to add about $3m going to Minnesota for matching purposes.

My guess is Vando included as filler with Conley and Minnesota is trying to get Nas from us for Vando?

Edit: math is hard. The deal works because Russ’ salary is so big they can take on all 3 of those guys and if Minnesota isn’t gaining money so they can take whatever back. Still don’t think it’s fair value on the Lakers side but DLo and Beasley fits $ and compensation wise imo.

While it definitely sucks to get outbid by the Lakers this is not something I would be worries about. A first for Vando is a total overpay.

That’s because we’re getting Caris Levert and Cedi.

I know ppl are low on Bamba and I get it but if we could get Ross and Bamba for something like keon/couple 2nd picks, i think it would help the bench and our bench is a issue. Ross isn’t what he use to be but he is still a KO 3 point shooter which would be huge off the bench. Bamba motor sucks but maybe a team that has the idea of winning instead of tanking every year like Orlando might get Bamba motivated.

If the Lakers give up those super future firsts for Beasley and Vando… lol
