Say what you want, but this is a great trade for the nets. They got a bunch of picks including picks that could be really good and two really good players. Their current line up is still pretty good and they should be able to clear some cap space.
As a sixers fan, I would love to see morey find a way to grab bridges and right that wrong.

To go from arguably 3 of the top 10 players of the past 10 years to Simmons, Dinwiddie and Bridges is WILD… Nets used the house as collateral and lost. At least they got some picks back and plenty more to come under tank commander Simmons
Honestly, with BK’s hand being forced by Kyrie and KD demanding trades … this is a great return return for them.
Obviously they are in rebuild mode now, but they got a pretty good haul. If they can package a pick or two and offload Ben’s contract to Houston or Utah or something that’s probably their dream scenario.
They could flip Bridges for assets too. I have to figure everything in Brooklyn is for sale at the moment now. They aren’t clinging to the idea of a playoff run anymore.
