I appreciate the job that you're doing. To me this is a big disappointment. Finally someone has to hold the manager Kevin P. We have no idea what direction this team is headed. To be a champion you have to think like a champion and act like a champion.
In this trade cycle Indiana could have done much much much better. If we are building a championship team around our 2 keystone's in Tyrese haliburton and mathurin. This trade cycle was the best opportunity to add a sf that is in the same age range as starters but that did not happen why? Or we could have tried getting obi toppin or somebody else. Championship team contenders would love to have buddy hield Myles Turner and TJ McConnell. And we could have gotten a lot with them.
If we're all in to make a push in the playoffs we simply could have tried trading for Kevin Durant with all the draft picks that we have. But that didn't even happen either. Every time that the pacers were close to become a championship contender. They didn't go all out for a key player. Like in the 2003 04 season the pacers did not go all in and trade for Rasheed Wallace but the Pistons did and they won the championship. Same thing happened when the pacers were playing against LeBron James heat time. And we didn't go to get Anthony Davis according to Paul George who wanted to play for the pacers. And we did not do the trade we fired the coach what did we do with those draft picks that we could have used on Anthony Davis. We drafted TJ leaf who was a bust. We drafted Aaron holiday nothing special. And now even goge is going to be waved such a waste.
As a Pacers fan I am praying that we use these draft picks good prospects. Benedict needs room to grow he needs to become a starter it is a weird situation when you have duarte and nashmet. For those two players we could get a small forward a power Ford or even a center who are championship-caliber I'm not saying that those guys are bad. But you cannot have four players on the same position. On top of that you are keeping buddy hield on the team when you could have gotten a draft pick or a player on a different position. The only good bright spot for the Pacers in this situation is our head coach and that we have Benedict and Tyrese haliburton. It's about time that our organization starts thinking like champions. And giving our young Stars a CoStar that is in the same age group as them. So they can build their chemistry and build a championship team in a few years.
I just simply watch your videos I never comment on them but I felt very disappointed with this trading cycle. We as fans have to start criticizing the organization more than we do I am talking about Kevin. And you Tony have to start criticizing the organization. It is called tough love.
I think the best-case scenario is for us to tank and get a high draft pick from the lottery. And we hope that the cavaliers make it to the playoffs and so we can get there draft pick.

The Pacers right now are showing to be power of building a team where a LOT of the pieces are 2nd rounders. 2nd round picks are huge assets, ESPECIALLY when you can bundle more than one.

Why are so many so eager to tank? It's possible the high draft pick works out. However, go look through NBA history and see how many number 1 through 5s are still playing in the league or how long they lasted. It is not always a slam dunk. I'm just not a huge fan of taking a chance when you have that window to do something special within a year or two. I also agree with Tony with 2nd round picks. Wasn't Lance a second rounder?
So we couldn't make a better offer for Rui, Vanderbilt and Bamba??? Add those to the Nwora and I'd be excited.. I'm disappointed.. Love the addition of free picks. Terry deserved to stay… I don't like that move. Unless you're adding someone that actually matters more… smh…. we basically did nothing.

Can someone please tell me if Duarte is even a 100% since playing on his bad toe all off-season? Duarte should get Starter minutes at the SF/SG. To help get him back in rythem. This dude was candidate for ROTY last season. He needs minutes to get into a rythem. Let him struggle through it, unless he's not "healthy???" Brissett starting is fine, but I'd let Nwora start some games later just to test him.
When can jordan play, tonight or tomorrow?
Problem is this team has completely "retooled" the roster yet we still are in no mans land being a 9/10 seed in the east. We still have no direction. Front office is too afraid to tank. .400-500 record is pretty useless in today's NBA. At some point a decision must be made and committed to. I remember the letter they made to the fanbase at the start of the season yet were sitting 6 games under .500

You could slide Duarte or Beasley in and out the starting lineup, or bench. While also you could use Beasley as a trade for a pick next season. Or if he plays well and you decide it's time to move Buddy, than an even better player/picks come back. Smh.
I personally don't feel Duarte has been 100% healthy from his foot injury. Playing all off-season on it. I'd keep him evaluated and make sure he gets plenty minutes to try and get him back to his near ROTY play again.
13 player's counted here. I understand guess the cutting of Taylor. Yet they could have cut one of Johnson, or waived Hill.
If they're gonna cut Terry, at least keep both the Vets to help train and help our young guy's along. Who better to have as a mentor? Than a long time, amazing Pacer in George Hill? Who played with one of the best Pacers team's ever.
If anything keep them for awhile, to help the guy's. Maybe he has some fun stories and thing's he could teach player's. If we had actually added the bigs I said we should have went after. Then we wouldn't need Johnson or anyone. We'd be set and ready for the Draft. Then have tons of assets and guy's that if they don't work out. We could get more in return for than what we gave for them. Seeing as if we'd gotten them as easily as LAL.. SMDH
I wouldn't mind bringing in Pat Beverley. Just because I love the guy and how he rallies his team to play hard on D.
I heard Clippers would like to trade some player's. If we could get Brandon Boston Jr. for a couple 2nd rounders. I feel like that would be amazing. Cause he's tall, lanky, has a great handle and can shoot the lights out. While being able to drive a bit and has good vision. I watched him in him and Maxeys first year's practice vs eachother and Boston Jr. cooked him. Terrence Mann could have been a nice combo SG/SF to take a chance on. I think if Mann could improve his ball skills, he could be a great combo guard. Like a SG/PG.. Idk how he's played lately.. we didn't even try for OG, why not get Tauren Prince from Wolves? Probably a 2nd could get him and if Duarte is too injury prone. Then demand 3 2nds from them and ask for Wendell Carter Jr. also.
Or another favorite of mine OKC Jalen Williams for picks and a player along with Darius Bazely, or maybe Kenrich Williams.

Idk, obviously I'm slightly upset at the other moves we didn't make.. but there could be plenty of guy's we should be able to sign come FA. While we have a great amount of draft picks. Hopefully we can get the best player's available at every position of our picks. Or if there's someone we really want, we will move up and get them.

Ibaka used to be a very good player…and is better than Nesmith right now!!!
