  1. 80 pts in the paint !! Throw a zone at them for crying out loud Nick !!!! Final 5mins get the ball to ur leading scorer Siakim. He took one shot in the last 5mins šŸ¤” … ridiculous

  2. FVV was a liability in Defense with his size and specially having 5 fouls. Nurse should have not let FVV come inside the game in that sitiation.. It was the start of Raptors downfall when FVV came in… Grrr.. the momentum was on our side and was leading rhe whole game.. wasted winnable game.. Nurse not brave enough on what needs to be done to win the game.. Not reading the right sitiation and not fielding the right players inside the game. He is becoming to be like Dwayne Casey of old.. Not flexible

  3. Nick Nurse does not like Centers players. He could've put Koloko and Poeltl in there just for a change. But no. He died with Fred and Gary even though they were off in the 4th Q. Nice Nick.

  4. For all the fans that have been whining for a center, …well…we got one and we still lost. Not saying we didn't need it, but the biggest problem for this team is shooting in general especially consistent long range shooting. Utah clogged the paint, and we struggled to score. If Poetl can't sink his FTs, than he's unplayable at the end of close games. Also, we are still overplaying our starters.

  5. Time for Nick to go. Nick's not the only one to blame here but it's just not gonna work. He's just lost that connection with the players.

  6. Nick Nurse got out coached, he also is afraid to bench Fred & Siakam when they are playing bad.

  7. WITH ALL YOUR CRAZY JOKES,…ASIDE
    .

THIS IS STILL A SELFISH AND A VERY BADLY COACHED…TEAM

ON TOP OF THAT MANAGEMENT IS LEAKING OIL BADLY… THEY MISSED A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO START CORRECTING THEIR MISTAKES…A FEW DAYS AGO.

    UNFORTUNATELY…

    THE RAPTORS ARE BECOMING SLOWLY A SELF-DISTRUCTIVE ….LOOSER BASKETBALL šŸ€ TEAM…

  8. Time to trade Siakam and FVV. As long as the raptors are built around these two. This team will be play in or playoff fodder.

  9. I hope that Pascal, OG, Gary and Precious can all take one more step up in their development before they plateau. If they do and maintain that, until and throughout Scotties Prime, the Raptors will be serious contenders. I think that is Masai's vision and to be honest I really respect that. Because rather then bringing in a bunch of new guys and hope they by into the culture. They can take advantage of having one of the best developmental coaching staffs I'm the NBA and build a championship team with guys they trust, and guys that are extremely bought in now that you have proven to your loyalty and trust to them.

  10. So, Raps trade for a real center and don't start him? NN still running core starters into the ground like he's coaching in a playoff series in almost every game- when will it all end? Raptors could have drafted Walker Kessler instead ended up with Thad Young who SA acquired when they traded DeRozan to the Bulls. SA stays getting over on Raps in trade deals. Raps have traded 3 recent #1 picks to SA including one in the Kawhi deal, one in the Dragic deal and one in the Poeltl deal. Both Masai and Bobby created this current Raptors basketball quagmire, now they need to fix it.

  11. What a joke. 2 minute ad to start it. Eric protecting management decisions for 5 minutes that are failing immediately. This is just such a PR exercise now for the Raptors.

  12. Wrong Ericā€¦if our players were wanted so much at the price requested then they would have been traded. So now in the offseason the FO has even less leverage to with the FAs. So noā€¦the same opportunities will likely not exist.

  13. I initially enjoyed the vibe of the show but with the team struggling it seems more like a PR exercise than real talk. The gameā€™s broadcast commentary is the same with Matty D constantly trying to pump the tires and make excuses to the teamā€™s failures. I sometimes have to hit the mute button to give myself a break.

  14. Good game for the most part but we need to be better than that. We shouldnā€™t have ever let it get so close, let alone letting them overcome a 14 point lead.

  15. When Sexton kept blowing by Fred, Nurse should have made an adjustment. When Flynn covered Sexton in the second quarter, Sexton didnā€™t score. I guess Nurse didnā€™t notice that he had an answer. The Raptors problem was defense not scoring. They scored a lot of points but there were not enough stops defensively.

  16. Great game,Jazz played tough and refused to go away…should have been a warning not to lose focus in the last five minutes.Armchair coaches will do their shoulda coulda wouldas, but bottom line is they have to figure it out, learn, and do better…learning those lessons in the regular season is what makes the difference in the playoffs.
Decent showing for Yak,he'll only get better as he learns his totally new old team.

  17. Playing againsg three 7 footers, getting crushed in the paint, and we play our new center 16 minutes, is he on minute restrictions? Why did NN sub Jakob out in the final minutes?!

  18. Eric thanks for admitting you are a homer excellent sell out. However, Iā€™m glad MU told players time to be serious because you want them to screw off the first 55 games? WTF if people are selfish you ship them out. You trade so you donā€™t get held hostage later. FVV will want 30+ but canā€™t stop fast guards and if one team bids that you either let him walk no value and that is why we have had a bad bench for last three years. Or you sign him to a contract that hurts team and if you want out you have to trade more draft assets. Totally stupid just watch gentlemen!

  19. Pretty glaring issue all season long has been dribble penetration defense. Raps concede penetration way too easily, whether or not by design, its killing them. Kolokoā€™s effect on D tells me this D only works when you funnel penetration to competent shot blockers. I have a feeling the Poetl addition will help a lot but the Raps still need to focus better on penetration.

  20. Keep doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity, they show us a stat during the game about how clutch Scottie is and then give him 4 shots, two of which that are not from his spot. You need a bucket post up Scottie. Fvv -18. When does this become a concern

  21. Totally agree with previous commenter. This is an embarrassing loss all these guys should be thoroughly pissed off instead of hawking a stupid Vegas contest. All decent fans are sick of these fourth quarter chokes

  22. What is happening in this organization? Why is it so hard to win without OG Anunoby on the floor? The fans talked about trading OG Anunoby itā€™s so hard to win without him. 14-1 in 5 minutes somebody need to fired šŸ”„ because we donā€™t take these games seriously. Guys are too worried about who can shoot threes but not winning.

  23. This was all the refs binge joke I have ever seen and if their own broadcast canā€™t acknowledge that Iā€™m going to stop watching. Come on guys two
Of you played basketball what happened out there was a joke

  24. Just a thought here about the broadcasters. I wonder if the they ever eat the food. feels like a waste of food putting it out there just for the cameras.

  25. John Tory ate that not Nick Nurse, maybe appropriately so lol. Make the playoffs or not I believe the Raptors will be a considerably better team next year ready to compete for the East and push for the NBA title. Good luck T Rex we believe in your dream to be the best you can be. šŸ£

  26. When good teams lead in the 4th quarter by a double-digit margin, they lock down on defence to close the game. That is all they needed to do tonight. Unfortunately, Toronto lost their focus in the last five minutes, and their defensive schemes were required to match up to Utah. I will also add that when you have players that the entire league covets, you must find a way to maximize their potential. The coaching staff should do better than that.
