Good look by Mikal and Din at the end, we’ll live with it. The entire offense was a bit clunky down the stretch and would’ve liked to see Cam when we’re stagnant like that. The defense is absolutely suffocating. Underrated stat is the rebounding by DFS/Cam Johnson/Mikal/Din, we just couldn’t stop Embiid’s 2nd chances.

I’m not sure how we’d fare against the C’s or the Bucks, but the 76ers-Nets series would be really competitive

  2. smirzaev701

Fuck these refs. Fuck the 76ers. Nets won this game!

  3. po0nlink_

Really wish Bridges had more plays ran for him in the 4th. Too much Dinwiddie iso.

  4. Fun game, we need cam in for some shot creation at the end

  5. GSAV_Crimson

Damn we went ice cold in the last few minutes. But GG to the team. They played their heart out

  6. adroitparadox

That was almost nice by Dinwiddie at the end but as a suns fan can anyone tell me why Cam Thomas isn’t starting or closing, the guy was unguardable.

  7. Throwawayidiot1210

Mikal is going to be an all star. He is developing into a 3 level scorer before our eyes while playing elite dpoy caliber defense

  8. Bruh that really played with my emotions though

  9. aaknosom

that hurt like hell BUT what a fucking match boys

  10. RedFutureMonarch

literally one more second would of tied it and who knows from there, great game tho

  11. MaleficentLoquat9827

Ahhh he needed the time to get set.

  12. notabot1397

honestly, i hate blaming the refs but lets not forget the FT disparity in the first half

  13. Most heartbreaking loss all season

A win would’ve meant so much

  14. bolognasandwich1

Tough game but good showing for being the first game of this squad together

  15. We may not have had the win but I’m happy right now. We played a good game and when the chemistry starts to mature we will be very good young team.

  16. gjanovsky

Really impressed with this team’s defense. Offense needs to improve, have to score more than 2 points in the final 6 of the game. But this team has potential and we can hang. Looking forward to watching these guys

  17. Visionarysound

We shouldn’t have even been in this position. Atrocious 5mins of no scoring in the 4th

  18. otismalo

still not sure how we lost that one but promising start to a new era. Just a 6 min stretch cost us the game.

  19. Heartbreaking loss. Fuck. That would have been an amazing win.

Where was that clutch shooting the rest of the game Spence?

  20. SuckaFreeRIP

Damn! Hell of a game :/. Flashes of what this team could be. Just the first game together with this group so a lot more chemistry to build

  21. GiantNets

I gotta say… this made me very excited for this teams future. The weakness in the half court offense was expected, it takes time to get everyone on the same page. Also it’s gonna take some time to figure out the best offensive rotations to prevent cold streaks like we had at the end.

That being said… the defense was absolutely insane. And the athletic energy… I really think we should have won that game if it weren’t for the refs. The free throw disparity was bad

  22. wintercvlt

This was the best L I’ve seen this team take. No practices, coach has no idea what he was doing with completely new players. Can’t be mad at this one. It just proves how good we are and how deep we can go.

    #LET’S GO NETS

  23. Elegant_Fun_1606

Simmons should’ve been playing down the stretch more, although a great game I wasn’t a big fan of the amount of iso we were running with dinweddie we played better more smooth offense when we had simmons Harris and co on the floor. But nonetheless really happy with Cam J and Bridges

  24. grudgepacker

Fuck the refs. But hear me out Nets fans, y’all should sign Dedmon — why? To beat up Embiid and other bigs for a few minutes each game and that’s all. Love Nic but he’s not that guy and he needs an enforcer to help him out when he’s over-matched

  25. AyyyeRudy

Great game, need time for this crew to gel but the future is bright.

Killa Cam should always been on the floor in clutch situations. Mikal and CJ look like studs.

  26. highoncopium

refs fuck you over on this one ngl. i watched the whole game for doe and dinwiddie but i might actually be a nets fan rn cause that shit was fun to watch

  27. acmilan12345

I was at the game and it was awesome (despite the loss). The energy was fantastic and the team was playing some great team basketball.

    I’m loving this team already.

  28. sabascastellon

Those 6 scoreless minutes killed us. Should have Cam Thomas out there. Seems to be the best closer so far.

  29. FamiliarComb3166

Good news: This team is fun to watch and I already like Mikal and CJ. Bad news: This loss sucks so much. Going 6 minutes without scoring a field goal is unacceptable. Vaughn should’ve called more timeouts and made some plays or adjustments. On to the next!

  30. Downashland

Patty should never see the floor again

    Cam needs to close games

Dinwiddie should play off ball at times

Defense was remarkable but we don’t need to switch everything. We’ll always get killed on the boards if Nic is switched out on the perimeter consistently

  31. NegativeGee

Watching post game. Man Bridges is likable and makes me realize how offputting those other 2 were. He’s going to do big things in this city.

  32. AmyKlobushart

Sucks that we didn’t win but I’m pretty excited for this new look Nets team. Good fucking riddance to the divas.
