LeBron talks abt the Super Bowl penalty

His hand on his back had no effect on his route! This game was too damn good for that call to dictate the outcome at the end. Damn! By the way I have no horse in the race. Just my professional opinion

NFL literally handed this to KC the entire playoffs lmao

  2. OrangeKookie

Mahomes getting Brady flags in the Super Bowl he’s up next

  3. MonkeyFL3X

as a non football watcher, how is it entertaining to just watch 2 minutes of clutch time clock run down while nothing is happening

  4. ranchsauce13

Was a great game up until that happened, anyways Ima head out and jump into traffic

  5. BcoolXpress

Yeah shitty way to win the Super Bowl. Mahomes is the new golden boy

I agree.. we were headed to an all time great game and the refs took the air outta our sails… The ball was uncatchable too, let the players decide th game… ref wasn’t even gonna throw the flag until Pat looked at him

  7. Obvious_Parsley3238

if they didn’t have to waste a timeout preventing a false start earlier…

  8. nova2006

Eagles would have the ball down 3 with 1:30 left. Instead we got this totally ruined ending

  9. That’s why people be thinking games are rigged like who calls that flag and at that time in the game ? That’s so lame

  10. MistaNostalgia

I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings in not sure which. I won’t be silent . Just saw it live sry

    I mean he’s right 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rare LeBron W , I could care very little for both teams but just leaves a bad taste after a fantastic game.

The corner should have thrown a tantrum and circled around on the field eventually falling to his knees.

  14. Additional_Problem21

Eagles were playing with fire tho.

Back to back helmet dive tackles that could have easily been called leading up to this.

  15. LeBron is right. There were far more blatant holds that were let go all game. Call the game consistently

That was a call that ended the game. There was no ability to come back from that call

NFL is tainted by legalized sports betting, as is or will be the NHL and NBA. Worst decision ever to legalize that fucking garbage.

It’s not a coincidence that the rate of shit referee calls increased significantly after all the gambling partnerships and endless advertisements across all the professional leagues.

I agree with Lebron here, I don’t know if the Eagles win but I absolutely wanted to see them get a final chance. Cornerback barely touched him, and the ball wasn’t even close to the receiver. 2 minutes of running the clock down and a short field goal. The game was so good it deserved way better than that ending. Halftime also pretty good too overall. An entertaining game with a totally unsatisfying ending.

Also can someone explain for us NBA fans how that resulted in a first down, wasn’t it third and 8? They said 5 yard penalty but then they gave the Chiefs a first down?

defensive holding doesn’t matter if it affect the route or not

  19. Just like the Celtics game refs, they wanted players to decide the game, so they didn’t want to call the foul. Lol

  20. LogansGambit

Eagles player admitted he did grab his jersey and hoped they wouldn’t call it.

Bad calls can happen in the spur of the moment in fast pace games. Replays should be able to fix bad calls. NFL “tried” that and just sided with the refs on everything head coaches challenged and didn’t in good faith try to make it work, so we’re back to bad refs, or possibly manipulation by the NFL using said refs as means of controlling games.

what’s ja rule’s opinion on the penalty?

  22. I find this to be a pretty hilarious comment from Lebron who’s an elite athlete. [I wonder how he would respond if a penalty wasn’t assessed at a crucial moment in a game potentially causing him to lose the game.](https://streamable.com/vcae78) Kind of ironic.

People get so hung up about wanting the most dramatic finish that they just suddenly start arguing about ignoring clear calls so that we get the most “exciting end” rather than the correct one. This was a clear cut holding call. [It’s clearly visible from the reverse angle.](https://imgur.com/QvLlDll). And Bradberry himself admits to [holding and hoping it wouldn’t get called.](https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/1624980336932450307)

I know some people would argue that there were worse calls missed during the course of the game. But that’s no reason to all of a sudden ignore clear penalties and take it upon yourself to even the game up or set up the most exciting ending. That’s literally the refs rigging the game. Swallowing the whistle to produce a more dramatic ending is the exact kind of involvement you are all complaining about.

It sucks that the game didn’t end in a more dramatic way, especially after being such an epic clash, but that’s how things go sometimes. Instead of that climactic ending we get a dissatisfying conclusion.

The broadcast camera angle and Greg Olson’s whining is what confused everyone. The hold wasnt on the hip or with his left hand. The hold was with his right hand grabbing the jersey which was visible to the ref looking in from defensive side, where the flag was thrown from. The problem is they never showed the angle to the viewers and just went along with Greg’s whining about it.

Once again. It wasnt the hand on the back, hand on the hip. It was the right hand grabbing jersey which the db admitting doing. That’s an easy flag to throw. He got caught.
