As a Lakers fan that has listened to Pelicans cheer for Laker injuries I can only say one thing

I was one of the fans defending Zion since he got to the NBA. But it's hard to say he isnt injury prone when he's missed so many games. I really no longer have a counter argument for the ppl that say "He'll never live up to expectations because he cant stay healthy" because at this point he CAN NOT stay healthy

I never see the pelican players really stretch. I see other teams staff out there with giant rubber bands stretching the players hamstrings.
On one hand it sucks for him however it may work out for the better for the Pelicans. There is ALWAYS a silver lining & or positive to every negative. Always.

I don't look down on, but feel bad for, those who are swayed with every win, every loss, every injury. Sometime u have to stay the course, adversity comes to us all & in different ways however sticking it out thru the adversity (if worth it) usually ends well.
There are pro's & cons to everything. The pro to liking a bad team is that fans tend to stay positive at all cost. The con is that u like a bad team. The pro to rooting for a good team is that your team is in the mix competing for a chip. The con is that fans become delusional, expectations rise & the criticism or negative outlook far surpasses reality.
I dont think hes injured I think they just want to wait for the hype to die down after the all star game

He started last year with just missing a couple of weeks, that turned into the whole season.. the dude is done, makes Anthony Davis look like Superman

Embiid played 31 games in first 3 seasos, ages 20-22 and has never played more than 68 games. Zion will be ok.
