I’m locked in on the lottery pick! I gotta see what these dudes say🤔 edit: pish has a great point of having a ton of developing players, maybe trading one of our picks might be a good idea😅
I’m watching the total underperformance of this so-deemed college generational draft, and am starting to conclude that in college, except possibly for Brandon Miller, Cam and Gradey Dick most haven’t looked like certain stars. Given how young the Magic are it’s not the worse thing to keep developing and try to figure out the best symmetry.
Suddenly the Magic have the emergence of JSuggs and JI who could be the best defensive duo in the league. Most people don’t notice defensive but it’s there every night. Suggs performance against a veteran, well-coached team was eye opening.
Magic’s record is only a few games out of play in, why wouldn’t they want to shoot for playoffs? Lottery picks are nice but Magic are improving enough to where they don’t need a lottery pick
Definitely lottery this year!
Killin it cuz’s.
The guy opposite of KOC is hilariously bad with his takes. Before the season began he said that there was no way Wagner could be a top 25 player in league and how we were one of the worst teams by construction. All these talking heads are hilariously NPC-like when it comes to small markets teams.
Itd be nice if the magic can get Scoot Henderson or Cameron Whitemore. Cameron is averaging 12 which is decent and Scoots averaging 21.
The "other dude" doesn't know what he is talking about. We made serious progress let's get that top pick or two
Injuries a blessing in disguise
If we get a team of Wembanyama/Paolo or Scoot/Paolo, you won't be hearing anymore Heat chants in the building. Just sayin'
Play-in.
Championships should be the goal.
Not the draft.
We can make the play in and still be in the lottery. The bottom 14 teams still make lottery so 10/11 seeds in play in still are lottery bound
I understand that playoff/play in experience is vital, but if we’re able to get 2 top 10 picks we should absolutely go for it. Our guys are super young and have many years ahead of them to get that experience. Top 10 picks don’t come around often when you’re playing well
Another lottery year is a complete failure. This team IS good enough to make a splash. Even a first round series with a few wins to give the young core some playoff experience. I do badly want to face Boston in the first round 😈
You don't need to know the other guy's name, he's irrelevant. KOC sometimes gets too far into draft prospectives, this draft isn't terribly deep, we can't get 1st pick again, I say go for the play-in, we got a lot of young guys under contract for years to come
They need to go for the playoffs. If they are truly going to be a great team it’s going to happen this month. They have everything in place now. No more excuses based on experience. The squad has been able to play together for a month or so now.
Biggest thing: they have cap space. They are ready to turn the corner.
