    GAME NOTES:

Jordan Clarkson had an amazing second half scoring wise. He only had 7 at the half, and whenever he shot it pretty much went in that second half. His turnovers were terrible. He used to have that magic move in the paint where he would use his pivot foot really well to get open, but recently it has led to a lot of turnovers. Either a travel call, or he gets stripped. However, he took over that second half regardless of those 7 turnovers. 29 points 9-17 shooting (6-8 in the second half) while going 6-8 from 3 for the game

Lauri wasn’t hitting his 3’s, he’s been a little cold from deep recently, but he still got his points. 29 tonight on 10-20 shooting, with 11 rebounds. The second his 3’s start hitting he’s going to go back to 30+ points again

Kessler had some foul trouble tonight, so only played 19 minutes this game. He looked good in his minutes, 6 points 5 rebounds and I could’ve sworn 3 blocks, but was only credited for 2. Just needs to learn to manage his fouls and he’ll be back.

I was actually impressed with Azubuike today. His mminutes in the late first and beginning of the second were really good actually. He didn’t look so winded after a few trips up and down the court, and was rebounding really well. He did have 2 bad turnovers to start the fourth pretty much back to back, but he looked a lot better today compared to last game. 4 points 9 rebounds

Sexton helped this team in the fourth when Jazz East (indiana) starting to make a run again. He was getting into the paint with ease. He was 7-14 shooting, missed his only 3 point shot, but did have 6 assists with his 18 points. I liked what I saw from him.

Kelly Olynyk took the Pacers to the Klynyk tonight. 4-4 from 3, 5-6 from the field, and hit 2 clutch 3’s. He also had timely offensive rebounds which helped us get the lead secured. He had a double double with 18 and 10 rebounds.

Fontecchio still doesn’t look too good. He looks too eager to shoot when he gets the ball, and didn’t have the best decision making. He didn’t do much in his minutes tonight

Rudy Gay did regular old Rudy Gay things. 2-6 shooting, bad decision making, and didn’t play good.

THT has been my favorite reclamation project this year. Went from DNPCD to 7 points 7 assists. His passing is getting underrated. Mike Conley really had to have helped him out a ton, he is a decent backup PG. Shooting wasn’t the best, 2-7, but he led the team with assists in just 19 minutes.

Agbaji is like 23 of 43 from the corner 3 this year which is insanely good. He looked more confident tonight in his shots, and was trying to create a bit more. 8 points, 2-4 from 3, 3-7 from the field. 4 rebounds with 2 of those being offensive.

Still no minutes from JTA, Jones, or Westbrook. Surely JTA can take some Gay minutes, right???

Big issues tonight were turnovers, we had 18 tonight and perimeter defense. We were holding Haliburton pretty well that first half, but he was on a tear that last half. He is so much fun to watch man, his passing is unreal and he was cooking whoever we threw at him. I will say Agbaji played the best defense on him via the eye test, but everybody else couldn’t do anything.

I liked our rebounding efforts tonight. Lauri, Klynyk, and Dok rebounded extremely well for us. We also didn’t give up more offensive rebounds than we had!

A tough win when you consider we probably wanted to lose this one, but GG Jazz East!

    29-30 Bitches!

i just want to say that lauri markkanen is far too good to be passed around so fucking frivoulously

hes a 7 foot tall deadeye shooter that will dunk on your mom, AND TWO TEAMS TRADED HIM??!?W?>SD:F<>SDF

    WHAT IN THE FUCK

I understand not wanting to out right tank but being stuck in this 9 through 11 seed is basketball limbo.

JAZZ ARE STILL GOOD AND WILL HAVE CHANCES TO WIN MOST NIGHTS

THERE WERE PPL WHINING THAT WE’RE TANKING NOW LMAO

Playoffs here we come, let’s at least get 4-5 game series out of it 😀

  7. FERFreak731

We traded 4 players, for a first, that can’t even be a top 4 pick, to tank, just to win games

We really need Westbrook, to help us lose, and tank. I’d rather have an opportunity at drafting Amen Thompson, or Henderson, than lose to the Nuggets, Suns, or Grizzlies in 4 games, in round one

  8. RidgeLove

We got too many dudes who can put the game on their back to tank like this. Lauri, Clarkson and Sexton each can flip a switch to victory and I love it but also hate it lol.

  9. MegaAltarianite

Lauri has been weird lately with his three pointers. Seems to miss every single one in the first half.

The won but I can’t stress it enough how they played against the raptors is ideal. I’m not a fan of the Jordan clarkson show where he decides he’s going to be the only one to touch the ball and decides it’s his time. Sometimes he successful sometimes he’s not but it does not help your teammates. He’s a 6th man being misused as a starter. I’d like to see KO be used as a passer more I think he did great and it helped out sexton and allowed him to play a little off ball. The jazz must lessen the clarkson experience of the goal the is to embrace the younger talent

  11. The .500 copypasta is gonna be back on the menu soon isn’t it

Lauri’s 3s are not hitting because the spots and passes are worse. 95% of his 3s were assisted.

Utah is entering the chicago land where there is no passing PG to feed Markkanen and his percentages drop.
