Load management ruined the dunk contest. Now every decent player is either embarrassed of losing or doesn't want to risk injury. It's basically role players and rookies now.
This was THE BEST SD contest I've seen. When you compare the difficulty of those dunks to others it's unimaginable
When people think that the 3pt contest is better they don't realise that they're simply looking for instant gratification
Dunk contest through the highs and lows will eventually give you classics that will live on forever like this one

Probably the best Slam Dunk contest ever. Also, the first of the two times Aaron Gordon was robbed.
Gordon's last dunk definitely could have sent this contest into triple overtime.
This dunk contest inspired me in 3rd grade to dunk and will go down in history as the best dunk contest I have witnessed
Levine didn’t deserve a 50 on some of those dunks. Especially the one where he copied Gordon’s mascot spin dunk. He did the same dunk without the difficulty and flare and got a 50.
