Currently Bulls have a 26.3% at a top 4pick and a 6% shot at 1st overall. It’s safe to say that his team, as it currently built, will not return next year.
The $$$ doesn’t workout so the off-season is going to change this roster big time! Tank and make it look good and hope to hold off that Orlando pick until next year.
I just found out that the Bulls pick to Orlando in the upcoming draft is top 4 protected. With this Demar injury, Bulls should go for full tank and throw up a prayer/try to luck into a top 4 pick.
Really messed up that this is our best option but better than trying to “compete” now. I’m 100% against signing Westbrook now knowing about the draft protection.

This is actually a terrible scenario we’re in. I’m so thankful for demar putting MVP numbers and he shot his stock up so much last year. Now that he’s injured AND the team sucks, I doubt we can get anything for him for what he’s worth. I knew this might happen too based on how much minutes he was playing – between him and Zach lavine, they always seem to try to play through some injury. We’re bad – we owe them big money to be at the 11th spot – we don’t have the picks, very difficult situation.
It seems like we’re gonna have to stick out with Demar. I would shop vuce and caruso while they still have their value for an underrated young player. Players like Kuminga/Tyus jones/Bruce brown /Jakob poetl /grant Williams
