  1. Screw NBA rules, sign Poeltl long term this month 😁. This guy is what the Raps has been missing since Ibaka and Gasol left. So much options now with him on the floor. Go RapsπŸ€πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

  2. The announcer for Raptor is bad, he just yell his guts out to exaggerate an ordinary play. Fast forward to the near end just to find out the final score.

  3. Finally Toronto is making sense! Precious getting boards, Fred playmaking, a body on the paint😀😀😀

  5. What a game for Jakob 30 Points 9 Reb 6 BLK 88% FG Just the 3rd player in NBA history to have 30 Points with 85% Shooting joining Klay Thompson and David Robinson

  6. Bruh idiots really said stuff like Poeltl wasn’t a good enough trade and brother drops 30 in a menace on the boards and finally gives us a strong centre. Like we don’t need the best centre in the world we just need a good one. And the raptors have a good team.

  7. Wow Jakob! This is what the Raps have missed – a 7 foot center that can snag rebounds and clean up the glass. Orlando always comes to play in every series against Toronto, so this was an impressive win. Getting that chemistry cooking before the All-Star week. Keep it rolling!

  8. Raptors will make the playoffs now that they have a true center in Poeltl!!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  9. Man, what a dish by Barnes. Really would like to see him handle and initiate offense more. That lightning no look pass is so Lebron 9:07

  10. Where are all of these geniuses who were saying tear it down, full tank, questioning the Jak pickup, Masai is washed, trade the starters for a rack of basketballs and all the other dumb nonsense. Where y’all at? πŸ˜‚

  11. poeltl really stealing my heart. what a great readdition to the squad :”)

  12. Raptors 7 guys over 10 pts
    Poetl 30 pts 9 reb 2 ast 15-17 Fg
    Achiuwa 11 pts 13 reb
    Pascal 26 pts 4 reb 6 ast
Fred 10 pts 15 ast was dishing and swishing
Raptors should be so much better then 28-31

  13. So much fun watching what Jak can unlock for this team. I too was insanely frustrated for long stretches this year but here’s the thing, we had good players this whole time, it’s just we couldn’t generate advantage situations easily because of the extreme personnel mismatches. So it made the flow that much more painful and created all this isoball because there’s nowhere else to go other than guys needing to go into their bag.

I couldn’t believe the negativity among some fans, I know it’s just frustration but it’s such a downer. There is no such thing as β€œjust” tanking – when you embrace the tank your culture goes in the dump, guys regress and lose their winning habits, young guys don’t develop the right way etc. You can do a one-year β€œtank” only if there’s a clear story, like everyone was injured or the COVID thing, I mean the Raps did that and got Barnes in the lottery but it’s kind of a one-off thing that you have to frame as a total anomaly. Otherwise you compete and develop your guys. The only other time you blow it up is when the talent is so thin that truly the long-run best case scenario is being a FR exit. But we are not close to there.

By the way, what is so bad about finishing the year around .500, so as long as you have a bright future? The guys will develop and improve by playing competitive ball, and btw plenty of franchise-altering studs have been taken in the 15 range… Kobe, Kawhi, Giannis to name a few.

I have to be honest, these basement dwellers moaning and saying let’s throw in the towel so we can move up like four spots in the draft or whatever… they remind me of that friend who says β€œwhy bust my azz at work when I can just chill at home and live off the folks and the government… I mean I’ll just save my energy for some get rich quick scheme because those big moves are the only things that are worth hustling for.” Yeah ok buddy. You work so that you get whatever income you can, build your skills, stay on the grind and allow opportunities to open up. Yeah, sometimes there are roadblocks, it ain’t always a straight line, you know?

  14. JAKOB SCHWARTENEGGER
    HAS ARRIVED… WELCOME THE TERMINATOR…

    OSTA…LA VISTA…BABY!

  15. nice to have a big man who's job is to be by the rim on offense. Way less of this one and done bs.

  16. I really think that Barnes should play point guard on more possessions, he’s got great vision and can score of the dribble if he’s isolated and once the defence collapses he has the height to pass it over anybody.

Van fleet can beat one guy but usually tries to do to much and ends up getting blocked.

Im also glad Jakob is back, he’s more aware and faster than any other centre the raps have.
