Luka not being good without the ball is going to be the biggest problem
Luka and Kyrie isn't compatible in the same court together. It's crazy but one of them should be handling their own unit. They aren't good together because Luka is best on his own pace, he can play a different tempo but he's not at his best. With Kyrie and Luka together on the court, they lose that speed that Kyrie and the starting guys use to create more opening for the shooters which are all of them basically. To be at their best one of them handles their own unit where they can have their own pace and tempo. Luka isn't Lebron at all because of his lack of speed and athleticism, Lebron can easily match whatever Kyrie's tempo is, they would immediately synchronize together like a metronome in the court.
Coming from a mavs fan luka needs to change his play style for this duo to flourish.His slow pace while running the break as well as in the half court set is Hurting this team.kyries fast pace play style is more fitting for this team💯.

I'm afraid to reveal to you that this is no longer Luka's team, Luka apparently hired a guy that perfectly fits Dallas team without him. If he wants Dallas to win all the way, he should take the back seat and let Kyrie lead the way. It was sad and unfortunate because I've been enjoying the Luka show, but he made a gargantuan mistake here, he basically gimped himself by hiring Kyrie.
Have you ever heard of instantaneous synergy? That's what happened to Kyrie in Dallas when he debuted without Luka. This team is accidentally configured to make Kyrie fit like a glove and make him look good. The downside is that, that's without Luka. Luka and Kyrie on court doesn't fit and looked awful.
Why not just credit the timber wolves defense
Offense is fine. People saying changing up the playstyle this and that…they scored 121 points on 34% shooting from the 3. Josh Green who has been very consistent overall had a bad game finally. Their concern is the interior defense. Letting Rudy score 20+ = recipe for disaster.
Kyrie need to have the ball in the final minutes, they gotta come together to agree

Playing at slow pace can never be bad in the playoffs game slows down and nobody plays better at slow pace than Luka

From what I see they’re still trying to figure how to play together. THATS fine but at the end of the game they both weren’t being selfish with the ball. Unfortunately they didn’t get the ball out but that’s fine they just started playing. I can’t imagine how KD will do with the suns but they’re just starting out. Once they get use to each other’s play style it will be fun to watch.

Thank you Zach for pointing out DOMINANT defense by Jaden and Ant. I don't think it was unselfishness that made them not take a shot, they passed a lot because every potential shot got shut down by the Wolves young guys
