It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://projectspurs.com/the-curious-case-of-gorgui-dieng-why-did-the-spurs-choose-him-over-stanley-johnson/](https://projectspurs.com/the-curious-case-of-gorgui-dieng-why-did-the-spurs-choose-him-over-stanley-johnson/)**

Dieng is a positive locker room guy who doesn’t mind being a mentor/big-brother type. Stanley proved he’s a tough player who can still contribute to a winning team, we let him go for that opportunity.

Idiot Lakers blogger tries to call out Spurs only to get shit on by real reporters is the content I need more of.

Dieng is important to this team and I hope he stays here for the forseeable future, he’s the perfect vet to have on a team that needs good vets, guys like him usually chase rings, but he continues to show that he wants to be here. The rockets are a good example of what happens when you don’t have vets that care about the younger players.
