This season is just kinda dead to me as long as Nate is here , I’m still hopefully we can make some kinda turnaround like the past 2 seasons but I’m not betting on it … Nate isn’t the whole problem obviously but he’s a lot of it (50% Nate , 40% FO, 10% players play ) could be different in your opinion but whatever . He’s stuck in the mid 2000s with his offense & principles. Older players must finish games , younger players are in the dog house even if they are playing well . Values the mid range way too much in 2023 , iso ball , pick and roll , drive and kick , that’s his offense. Hopefully next year this WHOLE coaching staff is gone and we can get a modern day coach who value motion and 3s like every other coach in the NBA today . Lot of talk about him moving Trae off ball in the summer just for it to last a week . Now you might can blame Trae but at the same time Nate has never been a creative offensive coach so until we get a new coach & if he continues to stand near the logo when off ball then I’ll blame him . Again still a die hard fan , own season tix but I’m kinda over this season . This offseason will show what the org cares about . Winning or sell out tickets .
