  1. I woulda fired Silas at halftime of this game if I were Tillman! Then I woulda fired Stone after the game, lol!

  2. I agree that the style Rocket team plays doesn't win a game. Players seem lost. The style Alpi has played so far was not his choice. (He was even benched at the beginning of the season for what reason again?). So, they run through Alpi because he proved his game IQ. Because other players doesn't seem to know their role, it is not Alpi's fault.

  3. Jalen Green tonight:

    6 Points
    2-9 FG
    2-6 3PT
    3 Turnovers

TRADE VALUE HEATING UP…IN INDONESIA 😳🔥💯‼️

  4. Salute from Turkey. I started watching the rockets solely for Alperen and I dont even like NBA basketball. But I got hooked. Mostly for him but also I got curious how this bunch of 20 year olds would turn out. So here i am, watching the rockets game before the crack of dawn and the chopshop channel on the way to work. Even though I am an admirer of Alperen's talents, I totally agree with you. This has been a disaster so far and the organization should go back to the drawing board. Decisions must be made and nobody is indispensable. Alperen is the most talented guy on the roster but may not be best fit for Rockets' future plans. I hope the young guys have successful careers wherever their career takes them and more importantly that the Houston supporters go through this phase without any permanent mental damage. I greatly admire your dedication and analytical approach to the game. Thank you.

  5. Swaggy – Jabari can play the 3, 4, or the 5 in my view. We need D but we could definitely use some sharp shooters which would greatly compliment Sengun’s game. We have to be the worst shooting team and especially from the 3. I don’t watch much college hoops but Miller on Bama looks like a sharp shooter and would add some length and size to the lineup ( assuming we don’t get the top 2. Amen doesn’t seem to be a good shooter but he has plenty of potential as a playmaker. If he shows improvement with his shooting then he could be ideal at 3 if we get the pick. I just have this feeling they won’t get the 1st but Scoot would definitely be a great consolation prize. I just want to see Eason get more min and play with Jabari more.

  6. We have to look past the moment and guard against recency bias. Sengun is our best player right now, and he will get better…. but looking two or three seasons ahead is he the center that we build a "championship" contender around? That's not hate, because we can recognize the skill set and also objectively speculate roster construction. This is roster chess not roster checkers

Half of this team will be gone in three seasons…. I'm fascinated to see what the Rockets look like in three seasons.

  7. Sengun makes the Rockets watchable. But when KPJ gets back on the court they are not going to use Alpy like they were. This is another undisputable reason why Silas needs to get fired. Rockets could have a offense like Sacramento where Sabonis and Fox work together. Believe me, self proclaimed head honcho is not going to share the spotlight with Alperen. He has admitted he needs to work on his game to stay ahead of Green so it's a competition to see who the best player is. I wonder how many GMs are calling Stone to inquire about KPJ's services? Vanessa asked KPJ what his favorite food is and he said mac and cheese. Sit down head honcho. You got some growing up to do.

  8. The argument “we take 19 seconds so we have less possessions if they take less” is just logically wrong. You alternate possessions in a basketball game, so regardless of time taken, the number of possessions on either side is the same. This fallacy is very common in basketball forums. The only way you can increase your volume above your opponent’s is defense (turnovers) and rebounds (more shots).

  9. Another fallacy is the “we need to keep up with 3s”. It is accepted that 3s are better than long 2s, but if you have an 60% mid- or short-range scorer, it is statistically about the same as a 40% 3-pt shooter. The best strategy will all depend on personnel. In addition, having a center with gravity and passing skills like Sengun will give you more open 3s looks more easily.
