The Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly trading D’Angelo Russell to the Los Angeles Lakers and acquiring Mike Conley from the Utah Jazz as part of a three-team deal on the eve of the NBA Trade Deadline.

I can't believe Im saying this but Twolves now need to go pick up Westbrook too after getting fleeced.
Funny how Bobby Marks and everybody else is like wow the Lakers just set them selves up for the future here. Filling out their roster and aquiring quality assets for future trades and roster flexability… How Beasley is worth a 1st Vando is worth a 1st or 2 high 2nds and he is amazed they were able to get this deal done and unload Westbrook and others and it only cost them 1 1st and got protection on it. Sure wish Connelly knew how to deal with Utah like that what the hell.
Bobby Marks goes onto say the Wolves would rather have Kessler than Gobert and they are suffering buyers remorse… YA THINK? 5 years $205,000,002 is worth a HELL of a lot more than 13 points and 10 boards and a block while being a black hole offensively. So Vando makes 4.4 this year and 4.7 next and again by Bobby Marks words is basically a double double. So for 3 points Connelly pays him 10 times the salary. And they get the added production of Dlo and Beasley at much better efficiency than Westbrook. The NBA should have stepped in and blocked this BS trade. Now Utah wants to sell low on players Connelly should be drug out of him office he's been hiding in and hung. And they pawned off another scrub or 2 on the Wolves on top of it when we have a full roster. I hope somebody fails their physical.
Talking Lakers resigning Russell for 2 years 67 mill and saying how good of a contract that is to have him on. Im basically typing his response word for word here…
Have not seen one person dislike this trade from lakers side of the trade. Most are saying this is better than getting Kyrie fills out more holes and it only cost them the 1 1st. Its so maddening.

DLo is younger and maybe defensively Conley is better. But overall DLo is better. You can say that because you don't have a choice

Conley and Gobert played together in Utah for three seasons, that might help Gobert play better having him there. Utah was really good when they were both there.
Mn sports teams always get others teams trash I don’t care if you trade dlo at least get a 1st round draft picks or even a decent player nobody wants mike Conley not even the lakers the dude is old and don’t have much left I just want one time in our life time to get a trade that we actually going to win☹️
Dlo got benched in the playoffs. DLo is ok for regular season play but Conley is a better choice in the playoffs
