Which mentality would you rather see a Maverick take into the All-Star Game: Luka's or Kyrie's?
If I'm Luka it's something like, it's either I compete for real or it's not that fun, middle ground is no ground at all. It's like pretending. I think that if players truly competed, Luka would gladly play. But to be fair, I think he could at least do some silly stuff like nutmeg, crazy passes, etc. The only guys actually playing are the guys that want to win the MVP.

Lukas game doesn't tranlste when there is no defense. I would rather see Luka in all or nothing Game 7 when the other team is duble teaming him but he just balls out
The only way to fix the game is to go to world v us format. Only way you can get these players to care why would they care of they are playing for giannis or LeBron or whoever even the trophy is lifted by the captain.
You can't compete when there is no defense and Luka doesn't care when there is nobody defending him
Luka WAS asked very specifically if he watched the ASG growing up….and he said NO…not at all.
So yeah we saw Tatum can score 55 when nobody is guarding him and at the end he couldn't finnis when it matters a little bit he just started bricking all the shots
It would be entertaining if the NBA Allstars played a game against the Globetrotters and just go full tilt silly.
Luka (Jokic, Giannis) doesnt care because they dont have allstar games in Europe, he grew up without it. It’s more of an american thing.
You obviously have no idea how close and good friends Luka and Joker are. Dude, they are both Serbs, from the same region, they are just having fun, pulling pranks one on another
Luka and Jokic definitely cared the least. But I think some guys almost feel dirty scoring a bunch of points when nobody's really trying to stop them.
Look at Jokic, Luka and Giannis, the 3 balkan superstars: they didn't bother to pretend in this game, they let the most emotionally immature to score, while the american sports mentality is more inclined towards shows than the european one…
I would like for Luka to be wrapped in bubble wrap instead him playing at an event that is only a benefit to the NBA´s wallet. Players don´t care and as a fan I really don´t care watching 30 mins of commercials and bad performances before the game actually starts. And it wasn´t even fun to watch everybody halfassing around
We all love Luka but sorry, his approach to ASG is annoying. Also, game like this makes no sense, no defense concept was taken to completely another level last night and it made the game so boring. I used to at least enjoy the dunks and crazy 3's but this was unwatchable. If players are so tired or worried about injuries then just cancel the ASG, this makes no sense. Draft was the only interesting part of the night.

All star game is just an entertainment and exhibition, not a real game. And players will not put a risk by giving full effort just to have a unneccessary injury playing in the all star game.
