I think it’s Dirk. He was the first European superstar ahead of the new wave of European stars.

If we’re going pure influential? I’d argue Yao Ming would be up there. Shaq was a better and more dominant player, but Yao was a huge influence in popularizing the NBA in China and was the first (to my knowledge) hugely popular international star in the NBA. There were other great international players before him in the 80s and 90s, but no international player brought as much attention to the NBA globally as Yao Ming

I’d say AI but could make a case for Dirk, Shaq or KD

Influence is an interesting word. You can argue that Yao Ming brought more money and fans into the NBA than any of those players

In terms of changing how the league plays yea these 4. In terms of changing the business as a whole some other guys might beat out curry and bron.

I’d put AI over Kobe. What influence did Kobe bring that didn’t already come with MJ? He was just a copy but worse.

Iversion needs to be here instead of bron or kobe. And this coming from a diehard bron fan

Influence can be positive or negative. Harden changed the game by seeking foul calls the way he does. But if we’re looking for positive influence I’ll agree with AI.
Helicase21
Iverson. Not in terms of how dominant he was but in terms of his cultural impact. Or maybe Dirk.
TDS_Gluttony
Honestly AI can be argued even if individually he doesn’t go toe to toe with these guys. I think he should be in over Kobe just because he really pushed the league on what they allowed to be called a crossover and so many flashy dribble moves stemmed from him.

Iverson or Dirk. I hated Dirk but he was the leader of the Euro wave

Yao Ming. He made the game international to the largest market in the world.

Of the last 30 years? Shaq.
Duncan? Shaq?
Define influence. My pick is Iverson for sure.
