Who wouldn’t want to pull a Lebron.

what would this even mean for the team? are there any other stars we could conceivably trade for to help us contend? with harden we’re probably not going to be tanking, especially since we don’t have our pick

  3. 70 is quite high. I like high. lol. Wish it was 69 though.

  4. Like… why though?

I get the fairy tale story part of it, but this team isn’t anywhere near ready for Harden to carry them in his mid-30’s.

Pull an LBJ, come back home and win one for the culture😤

Hardens only goal is to win a championship right now, if he wins one this year i can believe the “70% chance” but if he doesnt hes either staying in Philly or hes signing with another contender

As much as I would love for this to happen I don’t see it unless he wins a chip this year

Why would Harden come back to the Rockets? We have Nix as our first option, I really doubt he’d be okay with being our second string pg.

I don’t believe it. Next year seems premature

This roster is a dumpster fire! No way harden comes back here to babysit

Bring back Mike D’Antoni and fire Silas while you’re at it.

The way Harden is playing right now, he’s not a heliocentric do-it-all but he’s the best point guard we can get by far and we can afford him. His presence would enable the other players in the starting rotation to play more of a catch-and-shoot style and I don’t think he’ll interfere with Sengun also being a playmaker from the inside (ideally, Harden’s gravity opens up more opportunities for Sengun to beat teams that overcompensate to stop Harden).

Harden showing up is also the excuse the next coach needs to move KPJ to the 6th man role that many believe he would excel at if he accepted the opportunity.

The Rockets have the depth of a contender but we need to bring in a star or two and an actual framework to build an identity around on offense and defense. We’re an excellent candidate to be next year’s Sacramento “surprisingly improved playoff team” if things play out right.

We’d be one of the 2 or 3 teams willing to give him a max contract for 4 years that he’d want to play for. I don’t think the Sixers would offer him more than a 3 year deal.

I’d love it, but I doubt it would happen 😔

I honestly don’t understand why he would leave. He’s the 2nd best player on one of the best teams in a fairly weak eastern conference. I’m sure the Philly FO will pay him well next season, especially with Morey there.

I feel if he’s coming back to Houston, it’s going to be the 2024-2025 season, or if Embiid asks out next season.

This is leverage to get a better deal from Philly. Probably his new agent’s idea.

Kelly also said that Christian Wood would be starting for the Rockets this season, lol

    I don’t see why?

Would he provide veteran leadership? No.
Would he make the young guys better? No.
Would he defer to the younger guys? No.

Would he make the team better? Maybe, but for his salary, I’d rather have two or three reliable, hardworking leaders… Not Harden.

He is NOT the example we want our young players looking to.
