With approximately one-third of NBA teams still with an available roster spot, free agents include: Serge Ibaka, John Wall, LaMarcus Aldridge, Will Barton, Stanley Johnson, Wayne Ellington, Tyler Johnson, Sterling Brown, Hassan Whiteside, David Nwabe, Michael Carter-Williams.

I have no idea why Woj mentioned Michael Carter-Williams in this tweet.

LaMarcus Aldridge hasn’t retired yet? Wow genuinely surprised

  3. Half those dudes had their agents pay Woj to write a tweet like this lmao.

Is whiteside washed? I thought he was still good for Utah a few years back.

If we didn’t get Beasley, Wayne is not bad because Vogel didn’t really use him fully.

  6. What’s happened with Will Barton? I thought he’s supposed to be pretty solid not too long ago.

  7. Hassan Whiteside and Dwight Howard are the only ones I would have interest in. And maybe too late for Hassan I think he would need a season full of games to build some better habits playing with LeBron.

Stanley is the only one that is a fit for the roster…of course Lakers can’t pick him up…

Stanley Johnson is gonna have to wait till next season for us to sign him

  10. might as well bring melo now he dont need minutes

Is whiteside that bad? It seems like a lot of teams could use that size off the bench

Why do teams need MCW when Scottie Barnes exists 🧐

Serge Ibaka would be my choice. Proven vet and champ. Can still protect the rim ala DH39. If they sign him, we can possibly move Mo Bamba to starter and AD to his natural position. Second unit would be DS17, AR15, Rui, Vanderbilt, Ibaka or move Beasley to the second unit. Starters would be: PG – LBJ, SG – DLo, SF – Vanderbilt, PF – AD, C – Bamba. Problem is, our head coach ain’t Vogel lmao

they need to fix the rule about stanley into a waver wire situation/time period where we cant, but eventually, he can be gainfully employed if no one else wants him.

they should fix this during next years lockout.

Poor Stanley was playing too well on a tanking team 😂, somebody gonna pick up Serge tho

  16. stanquevisch

Ibaka on the Lakers makes sense imo. 10min max rim protector who can shoot. That’s all we need.

I guess Carmelo Anthony quietly retired. Haven’t heard his name linked to anything for a long time now.

  18. MCW or Will Barton. Just to complete the roster. I think starters and bench are pretty much good at this point

David Nwaba was another good defender for the Lakers. But need a 5 I’d say.

  20. How good would a team of these players be like 7 years ago?
