I miss the days when we had the scoring champ, DPOY, SMOTY on the team in a 2 year period.

If we stay the path and don’t do anything hasty I think we can get there with time.

Mitch and Quickley have potential to be DPOY and 6MOY imo.

We have MIP and 2X all star Julius Randle

  3. I like IQ for 6MOY

Julius and Brunson wont win MIP but both are deserving of all nba

I could be wrong, but wasn’t that all in the 2013 season?

I never loved Melo. Never forgave him for bitch slapping Camby.

What makes you miss those days? Those teams didn’t do anything

how bout living in the present? because what we have going on here now is much better.

  9. What a fun team to watch. JR and Melo were my favorite players from that nuggets team so I was ecstatic to get to watch them both in Knicks uniforms. Tyson Chandler was a defensive juggernaut and the master of the tip out rebound. Felton and Shumpert breaking out and having major roles. Vets like Kmart and Sheed bringing the toughness.

Most fun I’ve had as a Knicks fan until this year.

That one playoff series victory will always be on of my favorite memories. Hopefully our current roster can win us a series

We got a good squad and building blocks right now lol

These were not great teams. They had a couple good players. I guess being old enough to remember the 90s Knicks is kind of a curse. I miss those 85-80 wins.

  13. VocationFumes

Do you really? because that was a single winning season among many others of pure misery

That was 1 fun year and it kind of ended in disappointment?

I dont miss shit, I’m as happy as I’ve ever been as a knicks fan. I’ve never been this impressed with our front office, or this hopeful for the future.

Fun time but our current team shows way more promise in terms of potential success, imo

Missing that when we got Jalen and the team we have now??? Come on bruh…

Tyson Chandler is way under appreciated. He was absolutely elite in 2013 and the only thing that kept us even semi afloat in 2014.

I don’t miss JR at all. I’m glad to see what a turnaround he made professionally and personally. But the whole Chris Smith business, lack of effort, and absolutely terrible performance in 2014 meant it was time to move on.

And one good knee under baron davis

Yea they did great in the playoffs…oh wait.

  21. I became a Knicks fan because of Melo. I started watching the NBA pretty much when we acquired him from Denver.

I’ve always been a NY sports teams fan (apart from the Steelers), so when my favorite player came to the Garden it was an easy choice to follow the Knicks. Since then, I haven’t looked back. Stuck with the team through thick and thin. I bleed orange and blue no matter what.

Those years with Melo and the team will always stick with me. They were the most fun and exciting years for me as a fan, but recently this teaam has been just as fun to watch!
