You were right. Every thing you said was correct and we as a fanbase were too blinded by our hubris to listen. But above all, we are the Hawks. It’s perfectly natural for us to be eating crow.
Trae Young took a lot of abuse (some deserved) during the Heat playoff series but anyone paying attention could tell McMillan was cooked end of last year. What Spoelstra did to him coaching wise, it was abuse. Not sure why they waited so long to move on.

Pacers fans were right. His most successful season with us was him using Lloyd Pierce’s coaching staffs.
I said it when he was our coach, I’ll say it here too. I hope he finds a position somewhere as he’s a quality individual. But he’s not head coach material. He’s an incredible assistant coach and that’s his level. When he gets to the top his flaws become issues. But as an assistant? He’s great.
Remember when this sub concluded the only possible way Pacers fans could be happy he was fired was racism?
