Less talk, more winning. Tired of the same stories season after season with absolutely nothing to show for any of it.

> **How much happier will you be to be a part of an NBA championship stage with people watching you? Would you say that’s the only thing you’re missing?**
> I feel like I’ve accomplished a good amount of my career. I’ve been an All-Star, been All-NBA, averaged 30 in the league. It’s just, ‘OK, what can I do now? What do you want to do?’ Win, win, win, win, win at the highest level, play in meaningful games, win multiple playoff series, get to the Finals, win a Finals. That’s what I want to do. That’s the goal.
Good talk for sure. Hopefully they can deliver. I’d like to see a Wizards championship in my lifetime.

Listen I get Beal is overpaid and his contract is pretty bad, but I feel like he gets way too much hate in this sub because of that. He is still a good player and seems like a nice guy who players and people get along with well and he has done a lot for the DC community. And I also don’t think he is giving less effort, he has just gotten injured a lot and missed a lot of games but I still think he is capable of being an all-star level player. He seems like a guy who is genuinely happy to be in DC and I am grateful that a good player thinks that way, even if it may be also because of the money.
People should focus that anger more on our front office, but even more on Ted who was actually the one responsible for his contract. Can you really get mad at a dude who was offered an absurd contract and accepted it? Be mad at Ted for being content with mediocrity for over a decade.

In a day and age where multiple stars are asking out every trade deadline and offseason, it’s nice to see guys like Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard staying loyal to their teams. Yes they might never have the team around them to actually win it all, but at least they aren’t choosing the easy way like how some of these stars have in the past.

I’ve typically come to cringe at these puff pieces with Beal. This one was good and he said what I’d hope he’d say.
