Well I mean Beal’s loyalty won him 250 million plus lol. and Dame is gonna be making crazy dollars with his extensions. ringz maybe not, and Dame has more team success than Brad has, but to paint these guys as losers is wrong.
They’ve both won the game of life. Both themselves and multiple generations of their family are set for life

Survivorship bias. The best players always stick around, so it feels like everyone has a ring, and you can just get one no problem. But winning it all is harder than ever. This year only one of Giannis, Durant, Embiid, Jokic, or Tatum miight get a ring..everyone else will go home empty handed again. It’s tough out there.
It is not like they stayed for free.
Loyalty is also about not trying to run the team like you are the GM, and faking you got offers from outside in order to get 250+ million dollars+no trade clause.
